Dr. Paul S Plascyk, DDS

I transferred my dental care to Dr. Plascyk after my long-time dentist retired, and in between I had a couple of adverse experiences. I chose him because of a review that described his work, especially the use of injections, as almost pain-free. Over the past year Dr. Plascyk has replaced fillings that I have had for 30-40 years, and has creatively saved a couple of teeth. He is very clear in his treatment planning, his work is enduring well, and I haven't needed as much as a Tylenol after appointments. Another reviewer mentioned cost; yes, he charges by the quality of his work, but I have found him very trustworthy and clear about what he is doing and why.

We have been seeing Dr. Plascyk for about 10 years and plan to use them as long as he is in practice. He is not only professional, does great and quality work, but also attentive to the needs and provide alternative solutions when necessary. Dr. Plascyk is also keen on keeping up with new trends and technologies in the dentistry industry. The staff there is great also and the cleaning service they provide is excellent.

After many traumatizing dental encounters in my life, In 2005 I moved to Charlotte and decided I wanted a dentist that didn’t hurt me, was holistic, and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I found this in Dr. Plascyk and his staff. In 2007 I decided I wanted all the toxic mercury fillings removed from my mouth. This took some time. I also had cracked teeth I didn’t know were there under those old fillings until they came off. The camera on your teeth shows you everything. Doctor Plascyk takes time to make sure the bite is correct which is very important. So worth it. After sitting for as many hours as I did up to that point, I then decided I wanted veneers. My teeth weren’t bad just small and chippy. I wanted some pretty teeth with bulk. My teeth are now amazing! For 14 years Doctor Plascyk and his staff have taken great care of me and my teeth. You couldn’t ask for a better dental experience. I’m a patient for life here. Thank you Doctor Plascyk and… staff!!! Have been a patient at Dr. Plascyk's office for many years. His office is an inviting place and his staff of many years always friendly and welcoming, so going to the dentist becomes a pleasure, no matter how great or small the procedure. It is apparent that Dr. Plascyk and his staff care about their patients and that great pride is taken in the services provided. I would highly recommend this dental office and Dr. Plasyck's approach to dentistry.

I recently took my child in for a small cavity. This was his first cavity ever, so he was understandably nervous. While I was answering my son’s question about receiving a shot, the doctor tells me to be quiet. This is not acceptable from anyone, especially a “professional “. As I paid for the appointment I noticed that he charged $275 for the filling and another $125 for an examination/xrays. Disappointing experience all the way around.

Dr. Plascyk is a highly skilled, caring and personable professional. If you’re looking for a holistic, fluoride-free dentist, he is an excellent choice.

I highly recommend Dr Pascyk for all of your dental needs! I have had amalgam fillings removed and refilled in addition to two crowns inserted and his work is superb. I really appreciate the fact that he will take time to explain his plan of treatment so there is no misunderstandings about what to expect in addition to giving the patient the final choice when it comes to options. The best in biological dentistry!
