Dr. Paul Victor Podett, MD

Probably the most dismissive doctor you will ever encounter in your life. I've been going to this place for well, over 6 years, being seen by a completely different doctor. When that doctor changed practices, I ended up with this putz. Without ever meeting me, without ever even looking at my chart, he told me that all my symptoms were because I had lack of sleep. So basically he's saying all the doctors prior to him in the same clinic were wrong. I have an iron deficiency, so severe that I have to have injections. And ohsu was trying to figure out where I was losing so much blood when I don't have a menstrual cycle.Anymore. According to dr quack, it's all in my head. Also, according to him, there's no such thing as hormone replacement Therapy. He's absolutely dismissive of everybody especially females. This guy is a liability should not be practicing medicine. And because I stood up for myself and didn't agree with him, and questioned why all the other doctors gave me all these… unnecessary treatments and tests, including ohsu, I was told that I am a difficult patient and he dropped me. If you notice most of the negative reviews are by women, because he absolutely does not respect them. Whatsoever.

High way or the high way. Seek someone with an open mind. That isn’t him.

I have been with Dr. Paul for at least 10 or more years. He always listens to what my problems are and has taken excellent care of me. I don' always do what he says but i know I should(like quit smoking). He is an all around nice person and is very caring. I just want to thank him.

Did not have a good visit on a common problem. . I Felt incredibly pressured and disrespected by Podett . He unceremoniously informed me that "this was not going to work" . I was very polite. I left feeling more confused about my options , than when I came...

Thank goodness we found a medical practice that we can trust with our health care. The physicians at Mountain View Family Practice are knowledgeable, diligent, and caring. Their caring is evident by treating us with respect, dignity, and integrity. It is reassuring that diagnosis is made with recent research, experience, and with consideration for our opinion. They continually monitor our health through careful examination, analysis of samples, vigilant comparison of our health history which they record electronically and personally call us with updates or concerns. Their medical practice is connected to a referral system of specialists, clinics, and a hospital. They accept many different insurance plans and respect Medicare. And they are open Saturday.

I am seeking to report defamation of character from the id physician. I have spinal Stenosis and was accused of being a drug addict when requesting medication for treatment of my illness.

I don't live close to a military base so I found Dr. Podett as our civilian provider for myself and my family. We drive over an hour to receive medical treatment. Dr. Podett is the best family Doctors that we have had. We will be hard to find another Doctor to meet the medical needs for myself and family when we move. Highly recommend!
