Dr. Paul Carl Prator, MD

Dr Prator didn’t even introduce himself when he came in the room. Didn’t review the medication he gave me, didn’t review the reason why he gave me the medication until he was attempting to clear things up after I started questioning him on why he would give me a muscle relaxer I have never been given before. He didn’t tell me the name of the meds, go over the frequency I should take the meds, or why he thought a muscle relaxer that specifically says that is good for muscle spasms, should be prescribed to me over previous prescriptions of oxycodone or hydrocodone for my dislocated shoulder. When I hinted that sometimes doctors have predisposed thoughts on who would abuse medications and who would not, and I hinted that normally black males are looked at in that manner, the doctor then laughed off my observation and told me that he is married to a black woman so he couldn’t possibly be racist. Instead of saying something like ‘hey my wife goes through similar situations’ or ‘I’ve… seen my wife handle’, or saying something that would show me he actually is aware of what African Americans face, he laughs and smirks and tells me he can’t possibly be racist as he hands me a prescription he never reviews and that’s not even for the ailment I came in for. 2014 we had the worst nightmare when I founded my daughter unconscious. The ambulance sent us to Florida Hospital @ Fletcher ave, and Dr Prator took care on my princess. I. The middle of our desperate moment, we was so kind and treated my daughter like one of his child. Thank you. Robles Family.
