Dr. Paul Z Quesada, MD

Great doctor of choice for years, but seems office staff just worsened over time. One would think new office, improved service but never happened. It doesn't take special training to listen to the patient. Time to change to a Doctor who would consider that having a professional staff a huge part of his practice

VERY RUDE OFFICE STAFF INCLUDING MANAGER. THEY HAD ME WAITING TO CHECK IN FOR MY SON'S APPT. WHILE THE ONLY GIRL THERE AT THE TIME JUST IGNORED ME WHILE SHE HELPED OTHER PEOPLE IN HER WINDOW. FINALLY WHEN THE OLDER LADY CAME FROM THE BATHROOM BREAK SHE DENIED TAKING THAT LONG AND SAID I WILL HAVE TO BE SEEN AS A WALK-IN CAUSE I WAS LATE BEYOND THE 10 MINUTE WINDOW THEY ALLOW YOU. I EXPLAINED I HAD BEEN STANDING THERE 5 MINUTES IF NOT MORE. SO I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND SHE CALLED ONE ON THE PHONE AND SHE HANDED THE PHONE OVER TO ME AFTER SHE TOLD HER SIDE OF THE STORY AND THE MANAGER WAS AS RUDE NOT WANTING TO HELP OUT IN ANY WAY. SHE BASICALLY SAID I WAS LYING ABOUT HOW LONG I WAS WAITING AND THAT MY SON WAS ONLY ABLE TO BE SEEN AS A WALK-IN. SO I TOLD HER WHAT SHE WAS AND LEFT. THIS WAS ONLY MY SECOND TIME THERE SO I ONLY GOT TO MEET DR. QUESEDA ONCE BEFORE, BUT IF THAT'S HOW HE ALLOWS FOR HIS PATIENCE TO BE TREATED THEN THAT GOES TO SHOW WHAT KIND OF DR. HE IS.

I have a 7 and 2 year old, and have seen Dr. Quesada since my oldest was born. Until my 2 year old started getting sick at 2 months old, I took her several times and I told him I was worried about her vomiting and didn't look normal to me, but he never looked interested on my situation. Then after taking her again after many attempts on a short time period, he said "oh, she is dehydrated" and asked me to take her to the hosp. for some fluids, but my baby ended up staying for 3 months in the hosp. and now she is expected to get a liver transplant. To me he could be better by showing how much he cares for his patients. I just didn't see much interest on his caring to my children.

Dr Quesada always seems a bit robotic. After watching him evaluate all of my children I have noticed that it is very much routine and not very personalized. I have four children and have been seen in the office numerous times. None of the drs remember you because of the large volume of patients in the office. All of the drs in the office cannot keep up with the amount of patients and they WILL not do anything without seeing you first even if your insurance does not require refferals.
