Dr. Paul Eric Schulman, MD

Truthfully if I could I would leave no Stars.... Horrible experience never again I saw Dr Schulman twice the first time when i gave him the medical records i was just at Mathers ER a few days before and only had half of the blood work at the time and told him that. Coming from working in medical field and drs office, As a Dr it is his part to request all of the blood work to look at and he did not. If he would did his part I would of learned I had Lupus. Instead he made me suffer horribly for 3 months missing work every week bc of my flare ups running around doing other tests and saying there was not enough for a diagnosis when there was. I went to Mather rheumatology and on the first visit she was able to look at everything and i got my diagnosis right away and got put on correct meds. I think maybe its time for Schulman to retire because not only does he not know what he is doing but he does not have any emotions at all when talking to his patients which makes you the patient feel… worse and uncomfortable....

Took my 78 year old father to Dr. Schulman for gout in his foot. My father was in a lot of pain. Dr. Schulman spent a lot of time with him and gave him a thorough exam. His reassurance and patience was impressive. He assured him that he would be feeling better soon

I was a new patient and as such had to wait 6 weeks for first visit. Dr Schulman spent less than 15 minutes, barely looked or listened to issues. Very little information imparted and clearly meeting his quota of patients by breezing in and out in record time. We are all suffering as these practices are sold off to the hospitals and we are just $ signs to doctors.

It took me three calls to reach someone to find out why I needed to be there 30 mins. before my appt. By the third time, I threatened to cancel my appt. Then I got a call within 20 mins., & was told the nurse needed to see me first. When I got there, I found out a nurse didn't need to see me. Luckily, I wasn't too early. After seeing Dr. Shulman for about 20 mins. on my first visit, he led me over to get blood work, but just left me standing outside an office. I found out that was where they did blood work. Then I was told to wait to see him again. When I asked why, I was told he needed to speak to me again. So, I was led into an office & waited at least 20 mins. I had opened the door, & the dr. saw me, & said he didn't need to see me again, & apologized. I told him how annoyed I was to have to wait again, & the nurse didn't know what to say. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there. I was asked if I had checked out, & said yes. Someone does the checking, but… nothing is written about going there after receiving tests. Also, none of the staff was really helpful or pleasant. After being told the test results would take a week to diagnose, I'm still waiting for a call after a week. Not good service at all. This is the worst-run office I've ever been in, & no one seems to know what's happening.

Dr Schulman and staff are great,

I have been seeing Dr. Schulman for over 20 years. He is the person I go to when I need information from someone I know I can trust. He truly cares for his patients. I highly recommend him as a physician. He listens to what you have to say and knows how to find a solution even when other physicians have given up. You won't be disappointed.
