Dr. Paul Michael Schwartz, MD

First of all the staff is weakly qualified. I have seen Dr. Schwartz actually yelling multiple times at staff and a patient. He has no patience. Secondly, I'm on a medication that, by law, allows for 5 refills. He will not give me the 5. Only 3 so I'm forced to go in for office visit *charged to my insurance company) and a required 25.00 Copay. TO sit there, wait at least 45 minutes in exam room. When I asked, Dr. Schwartz's reply was " Then I lose out on your 25.00". Really? To my face he admitted it's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, NOT THE PATIENTS.

Dr Paul Schwartz is an amazing physician with a vast knowledge,experience and patience.Best thing about him is his compassion and big heart. He cares and I needed just that as all of us do!

Had three visits saw the Dr once PA twice if I can’t see the doctor will look for a new doctor

My visit today was disappointing. I made the appointment concerned about urination problem. The friendly staff greeted me and led me to a room. A nurse practitioner with limited knowledge of English took my blood pressure and said it wasn't the best. She asked me what I wanted and why I came in. Then I told her I wanted a urine test. She gave me the necessities and when she returned she listened to my chest and said "you breathing not good. Why?" I told her I have asthma which she should have known from my records in her hand. I've been a patient in this office for about 10 years. I saw Dr. Schwartz on my way out. He acknowledged me offhandedly without asking why I came in.

I can guarantee you that the only people giving him a good review are friends and relatives. This is why sites like this are not real useful. This can be the only reason why reviews are opposite ends of the spectrum.

best Doctor around and he will explain things so you can understand them. He has the interest of his patient at heart and is a fantastic and very formal person.

Very Unprofessional

I am a new patient at this office and more clearly, I am NO LONGER a patient at this office! I called for an appointment to see Dr. Schwartz and was given an 11:30 on Friday. After waiting almost two hours, the person walking into the exam room was the PA, not the doctor as expected. It seems the doctor leaves at 11:30 to attend to other medical matters. However, I was not asked if I would like to see the PA, and I especially wanted to see the doctor to discuss other matters with him and to get to know him and he to know me better. This did not happen. After waiting 2 hours, this PA office visit lasted less than 3 minutes. I was never told the doctor leaves Tuesday-Friday at 11:30. I would have gladly waited a few days to see HIM when he is there. An X-ray was ordered and again, the person who called with the results was not the doctor so I could not ask him any questions nor tell him about my previous experience. I could have gotten more attentive care and a shorter wait had I… gone to an Urgent Care facility. I chose this doctor because of his credentials, not because he has a three hour schedule to see patients. If I could, I would give him a MINUS score in the overall rating! What a disappointment!

Dr Paul M Schwartz IS NOT PATIENT FOCUSED as well as OVERTIRED and NO PEOPLE SKILLS. After making multiple mistakes and Flooding My Parent with Fluids while in Delray Medical Center, He then released my parent who had GAINED 25 LBS in Water Weight creating Congestive Heart Failure!! We immediately went to another hospital where they got my parent under control. Shame on this doctor!! All the degrees and he was not man enough to admit he made such a basic mistake

Highly irritable and rude. Care is based on his mood of the day.
