Professional, informative, friendly...A-1.. all round helpful.this just says it all

In 1997 Dr. Slota operated on my father. He was 60. He played golf the day before. He was to have a stint put in his renal artery. He died 3 weeks later and never left the hospital. I find it interesting that I see posts that Dr. Slota has 21 years experience yet he conducted this operation 24 years ago in the Hilton Head Hospital. My dad was told that he had a less than 1% chance that plaque would not invade his body. The coroner said based on the severe heart disease that my dad had there was 100% chance he would not survive the method of surgery chosen. A good man was playing golf one day and gone the next. He missed out on knowing all of his grandchildren. Unfortunate that someone that junior was allowed to take him from us.

His way or the highway, including his chosen brands of meds regardless of the side effects. Bedside manner issues. Quite skilled, but do not irritate him by questioning his orders for your health.

Love this Doctor. He has saved my husband twice. He is straight forward tells you what you need to hear not what you want to hear.
