Dr. Paul Bernar Sobelman, MD

Dr. Sobelman is by far the best doctor I’ve had in all my almost 50 years as a Kaiser member. He listens, he advises with caring and concern, and he’s very personable. On his soon to be retirement he will be sorely missed. Best of luck, Dr. Sobelman!

He has been our doctor for over 38 years and we were so pleased with him when he left the practice in Placerville that we changed to Kaiser with Dr. Sobelman being our primary doctor. He is very efficient and carrying that now that he is retiring, do not know who we will get. Was able, at Kaiser, to e-mail with a problem and he would respond the same day with what can be done. It has been an honor to have Dr. Sobelman as our Physician.

I'm no longer a patient because I moved out of town, but otherwise I'd still be at his office. I saw the Dr for years, never had any problems, he always listened, took time and definitely was never this angry Dr I just read about. We're all entitled to our opinion, this is just mine...Dr Sobelman is a fabulous man!

I left crying because I was scolded for being late and told that I obviously had no respect for him and his personal feelings, because he was about to go on lunch. Was also told that I "just don't get it" when I voiced concern about being scolded. I was also called overly sensitive. He barely looked at my symptoms during the visit. I honestly paid $30 to be talked to like a child and I could have Googled more information on my treatments, he was so vague and general about the them. Oh, and I often had to wait up to 30 minutes to see him in the past. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Never returning.

Well I'm a Kaiser patient and this doctor just told me he thought I would be better suited to find another health care provider !!!And he would no longer be my primary doctor !WOW Not like Kaiser to to have this type of Unprofessionalism ????

Finally, a doctor who is not only trustworthy but personable... imagine that, a doctor with a personality to compliment his degree! Dr. Sobelman is a wonderful doc. My only gripe (a small one) was the long wait time in the office, but this was quite understandable as he was tending to a very serious emergency at the time. This doctor gets an A.
