Dr. Paul Adrien Suarez, MD

I had a traumatic injury - fractured wrist, cracked femur and broken pubic bone. Dr. Suarez put a plate on the wrist injury. Great job but he kept telling me they were sending me home the second day after the injury. I kept telling him I could not stand let alone walk with the femur and pelvic injuries. He said they would get a physical therapist in to work with me and the SEND ME HOME THAT AFTERNOON !!!! ( actually I was in a rehab facility for 6 weeks after being discharged from the RPH. Despite my pleas he somehow thought I could walk out of the hospital and go home. I came to believe that he knows nothing outside of his surgical specialty. He is clueless about the lives of his patients once they are rolled out of the surgical theater. His P.A. I’m sure must remind him every day that the fruit of the loom label goes in the back not in the front.

I never forget a face. But 30 years is a long time. Dr Suarez performed a Modified Jones Procedure on my left anterior cruciate ligament in sept of 87'. Back then and being military, the rehab took 42 weeks. Dr Suarezs procedure has to this day remain intact. While flexibility was reduced to some degree, theresults have allowed me to have a mostly normal life and i continued with my military career for another 7 years. I will never forget this man.

Thank you Dr. Suarez for everything. I'm sure I wasn't the most pleasant patient to meet, having been scraped up off the road, but my leg and knee are doing so much better and I know it's all due to you!

Dr. Saurez repaired a severe trauma to my foot where I sustained a degloving injury that removed two toes which could not be saved.Dr. Saurez managed to rescue one, leaving me with a big and little toe, and the one next to big toe that is quite broken, but seems likely to make it. I was never conscious for any of this, nor do I remember meeting Dr. Suarez, but my girlfriend, whose injuries were also treated by Dr. Suarez, tells me that he was a humble, caring man, who always had time for us. I am grateful to him.
