Dr. Paul Michael Taupeka, MD

So disappointed in his services. I was referred to him fo caderacs he did full exam quickly i gave him my full medical background. I advised him that i was nervous because my previous out paient surgery had not gone as planned. I showed up early for my appointment/surgery & 3 hours later when they were finally ready for me my blood pressure which is normal normally was at 259/113. The anisegogist sent me home to see my primary later that day after telling me i could have a stroke. Without speaking to anyone else just asking me whats wrong with you. Cpl days later i Expressed my concerns with dr Taupekas nurse. No apologies. I waited for a call back nothing for a week. So called back spoke with office maneger. No apologies in fact her cell phone rang i could her it she rushed me off the phone. Pretty much aburptly hung up. I was polite to everyone i spoke to about this. No yelling ir anything. My last contack was Taupekas nurse calling me back to set am appointment with another doctor… at another location. Instead of just calling and apologies which would of been fine. He would rather not take the time to even ask if i was ok! My whole appointment was rushed they had a 2nd waiting room with 3 or 4 paients inside the office and you go through different nurses for diffrent test. They set my surgery up with a time tgat they gave 3 other paients a d i was told that by his nurse that was working with me on my surgery day. So sad & disappointing. I would not recommend them for anything.

Dr. Taupeka is great. Did my eyelids. He's very friendly and it was obvious that the staff at the surgery center like him, too.

Busy office as a result of quality care and professional expertise of this highly regarded physician. I've not experienced unreasonable wait times, in my opinion, but also don't mind a longer wait if necessary, for the expert care I feel I receive. Dr Taupeka and Dr Zloty have worked diligently to address my specific eye care needs that developed as a result of a viral, ocular issue with subsequent vision correction and eyelid repair.
