WORSE dr ever, he will ruin your face and body and will take your money. He did chin lipo for me ruined my face left me in pain and huge lump. He did not care, only lies and takes your money. I’m suffering from the damage he did to my face. His a very bad doctor he took my money ruined my face and put me in pain and didn’t bother do anything plzzzzzz do not see him and his staff are rude and careless

I am a 45-years old male and had Botox on my forehead and glabella, 30-40 units on average, for the past 8-years and never was I ever disappointed. I always go to experienced practitioners in Chevy Chase or, when in Boston, in the South End. Usually, I am charged between $300-450 and my small–to-moderate lines are more than well taken care of. When I was in DC last month I saw that the practice of Dr. Paul Thesiger, Thesiger Plastic Surgery (Board Certified), in Chevy Chase, MD had a 40-units Botox deal for $398. I reasoned that, being said practice a supposedly respected one, it would not be a shady operation, not one of those “too good to be true” deal that are often found on GroupOn or similar websites. How wrong was I! The results are highly disappointing if not a total scam; 40-units, which have always worked amazingly well, had done absolutely nothing for my glabella and forehead. I am really trying to be balanced and optimistic here but no matter how I look at it, had I given… those $398 to charity I would probably look younger (and happier). I had to wait about an hour before being seen by Dr. Thesiger. This was not in any way a problem given I had plenty of time that day, and delays are bound to happen sometimes. Dr. Thesiger apologized, no big deal. When I was actually seen I had a ‘gut feeling’ things were slightly off because Dr. Thesiger did not really spend any time asking me what I wanted or any past experience with Botox, or what I could expect from the units of Botox I was going to have. Neither did he ask me to frown or tighten my glabella (the ‘11’ lines), or look at my forehead lines when about to inject as it is customary. I waited three weeks before saying anything (although in my past experience, one week to 10-days is all it takes to show good results). I was also left with a sizeable bruise on the outer side of my right eye which went away in about 10-days. In conclusion, I spent nearly $400 for nothing. Had Dr. Thesiger told me “look, the way I administer/work with Botox, 40-units for you is not going to be enough to achieve any appreciable effects” then I would have been more than happy to discuss further options. But in the way I was handled I feel I have been totally ripped off . Unfortunately, nobody is going to care and, sadly, other people will probably experience what I experienced. I thought that being ‘board certified’ would somehow be a guarantee for the public (patient) that certain ethical principles would be adhere to, and that the practitioner’s professional integrity would be assured. Mere profit should not be the sole driver or the sole outcome but, unfortunately, in this case profit is the only important driving factor. I really hope my experience will be of help to anybody who is considering having a very simple and effective procedure from a ‘reputable’ practice with a ‘highly experienced board-certified physician’.

I had a breast augmentation, liposuction and a facial fat transfer with Dr. Thesiger 15 months ago. I'm not happy with the results and wish I didn't have the surgery. I maintain a healthy diet and exercise every day. However my stomach looks bigger and my facial wrinkles remain as prominent as they were before the procedure. It looks like my breast implants are placed above the muscle and the left side of my right breast is severely bulging. Waste of time and money!!!

Love him and trust him thoroughly. I have seen him for over 10 years and highly recommend him .

I was not happy with my results after a mini face lift. He tried twice to correct it and failed. He told me he would call me the next day to discuss his next option , but he never called. That was six months ago. I was told by a more knowledgable surgeon that he didn't know what to do.

I underwent a tummy tuck surgery with Dr. Thesiger through Reveal Medspa. I trusted this company based on its massive amount of marketing. I got the tummy tuck in 2009 and thought I would be getting a tight stomach for 7000 that I paid. Once everything healed and the skin was not as tight as it should have been. I saw another surgeon by the name of Dr. Kung in Chevy Chase who confirmed my dissatisfaction saying that the stomach could have been tightened more. I am very disappointed with this surgery and wish I had gotten this from another doctor. The sides of stomach contain loose skin that looks disgusting. I definitely plan on getting another tummy tuck from a better surgeon in the future to correct this disgusting result.

I had a great experience with him. He is caring, personable and did a great job with botox.

Went in for filler. The Dr. was thorough with me with his suggestions and addressing all my concerns. The staff was friendly and the wait time was only a few minutes. By far, the best Dr. I've seen for this procedure and will be back.
