Dr. Paul G Wilke, DDS

Dr. Wilke was my dentist for about 10 years and did mostly cleaning. He has a big EGO, storms out of the room regularly, he's RUDE, his front office lady Cindy is more rude and ignorant than Dr Wilke. He failed a $5,000 implant and he was mad that I didn't go for his suggested bridge which would have ruined my surrounding teeth. He never educated me or answered questions. I'm sure there's an elite group of patients who get treated right, but I'm not one of them. He made me cry on several occasions. He calls himself a Christian but doesn't act like it so it's just a title. He is ABUSIVE. He made a comment while he was drilling in my jaw, "you wouldn't want me to hit that nerve in your jaw because then your face would be paralyzed for the rest of your life." It felt like a threat from my perspective while his hand is in my mouth with a drill. The implant failure was his fault for using a new procedure he wasn't fully trained on and he tried to blame it on me. Then he tells me it failed… because of a cheap test tube he used made in China and it contained silicone. That's sloppy of him to use that on a costly and important procedure. He never once apologized. He also failed my sister's 2 implants and cost her $8,000 and he never even called her back to try to return the SMALL portion of the $8,000 that he can get back by returning the implant to the manufacturer. He never once reached out to her. Dr Wilke just took her $8,000 and left her stranded with 2 failed implants and she never heard from him again. I regret referring my family to this monster. Get a biological dentist, but not this one! Drive to Austin or another city if necessary but don't go here!! I'm sure certain people get treated well here, but unfortunately this was my experience with Dr Wilke for the past 10 years. I should have never gone back there after the first time he was rude to me on my very first visit! Biological dentists are very few, but I would have been better off driving to Austin and steering clear of this madhouse!!
