Dr. Paul Terence Yellin, MD

Dr Yellin did orthopedic surgery on both of my knees. After total replacement, I can go on walks and do everything I need to, pain free! If you want a surgeon who will agree with everything you say and engage in alot of small talk, he may not be right for you. He is a very good Dr and I would go back to him if he hadn't retired!

Terrible Doctor, 2 total knee replacements, on the second one he broke my tibia bone so he operated again for the third time but said he had to perform it at St Joseph’s hospital. I was left with 2 knees that took over 2 years to heal. Turns out St Joes was out of network (he & his office claimed my insurance approved doing it there). I ended up getting stuck for a $22,000 bill. Avoid him at all costs!

Although bedside manner is not Dr. Yellin's long suit, it pales in comparison to his know-how and the feeling of assurance his self-confidence brings to a very frightening decision a patient must make. He cares only about the new knees he is about to devise - not about who belongs to them! Both my new knees - one 16 and one 5 years old - healed quickly and are operating smoothly. If I had a third knee, I would want Dr. Yellin with his no-nonsense attitude to operate on it.

He was rude and did not focus on current injuries, just previous ones. He also left out needed questions during exam and would only focus on one thing. Avoid if you can.

I attended an exam with Dr. Yellin. He would ask a question and never let me complete an answer. He was not at all interested in me or my condition, only in getting money from the insurance company for a slanted view. I would not recommend him.

Had surgery over 8 years ago. Knee still feels brand new

Dr Yellin is exceptional! I have been thoroughly impressed with how he took care of me and my knees. I give him my highest recommendation.

I suggest upon my experience with this individual that you do not see him under any circumstance. It is a waste of your time and money and he doesn't know what he is talking about. He doesn't give you a real examination. He thinks he is God and all that matter is his opinion. He really tries to fool people.

i agree with everyone else. he is a man who doesn't know what he is doing. you would have to visit him to understand what i mean, but don't waste your money or time. i wouldn't let him examine a cockroach!!

Sorry Billy I have seen Dr. Yellin and found him to be a very good Dr who DID NOT push me into anything I didn't want to do. I received excellent care and bed side manner from him and his staff and even though we did not see eye to eye on what I wanted and what he thought was best he was very understanding of my fears and very considerate of my treatment. I will be going back to see him.
