Paul Young, MD

Dr. Paul Young is a family medicine and internal medicine physician with 39 years of clinical experience. He completed his medical education at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and pursued residency training at Duke University Medical Center in both urology and general surgery, followed by additional residency training at Ohio State University Hospital. Dr. Young holds board certification in emergency medicine from the American Board of Emergency Medicine and provides care in English.

Dr. Young practices at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and sees patients at urgent care locations in Santa Maria and Pismo Beach, California. He treats patients with upper respiratory infections and specializes in managing back pain in both pregnant women and pediatric patients. His clinical expertise includes performing chest x-rays and chest fluoroscopy, as well as coordinating physical therapy treatments for his patients.
