I have been going to Dr. Francis’s office for many months at this point, and I had seen a doctor who was a member of her staff for all but my last two appointments, and she was great. She left the practice, and then I had to see Dr. Francis to receive medical accommodations for my college. I sent her the forms and asked her to complete them as soon as possible. For two weeks, I called her office multiple times asking about the forms, but she had not started them, and when they did sent the form, it was the WRONG form (one general health form I had sent months ago, which they didn’t bother to fill out then). I called the office to tell them it was the wrong form, and then they promised they’d fill out the correct form. A week later, they sent it, and it downplayed my symptoms and was missing a lot of the information I discussed with Dr. Francis. So come my most recent appointment, I brought up to her that I felt the form was incomplete, and she proceeded to condescend me about my lack… of knowledge about how “professionals” communicate with each other. When I brought up that my college’s accommodations office couldn’t support my accommodations because of how late her office submitted the form and how the incorrect form was initially submitted, she tried to tell me I had sent the wrong form in, even though her office had acknowledged it was their mistake and I know for a fact that I sent the correct form to her. After I stood up for myself, she snapped at me and called me entitled (for wanting the correct forms to be sent to my college on time?) and informed me that “I wasn’t the only patient at the clinic.” I told her I could see the reason she was rated a one-star psychiatrist online and hung up. I am a young adult, so I suppose that’s why she thought she could get away with pushing me around, but I don’t take that kind of disrespect. Other than this completely unprofessional and rude experience I had, she is always late to appointments and her staff is disorganized. Please listen to these reviews! I only saw her because my old psychiatrist went off of my insurance, but I will be finding a new one.

Always listens and calls back. Sometimes runs late

I was uncomfortable with the number of controlled substances she had me on and asked to reduce several times. She would not reduce the amount. She also refused to fill out a one-page form for the insurance company so they could approve a noncontrolled medication. I just do not feel her goal is to get me better and so I recommend against her. My new psychiatrist is a breath of fresh air (in comparison).

I tried for over a month to get a return call from this office. When one of my scripts was sent in it was in error and I tried to contact Dr Francis’s office and no one would return my call. This is horribly unprofessional and unacceptable, what a crock of sh__ this office is, so do not waste your time. If I could rate this a negative number I would, but that option is not available.

Not returning my phone calls. Have been contacting the office and her personal number for 2 weeks. unable to get an appointment until 4 weeks and out of medication. Have been seeing her for many years. The office says she left, but they do not have my records and cannot see me unless I am established as a new patient. Very concerned about my well being. I am responsible for toddler at times for a friend and she is also concerned. She phoned the office as well with her concerns and got no response. The pharmacy also tried to reach the doctor with no response. It gave me 3 days of my meds per policy to assist. Something smells of discord here and it is putting many at risk. Explained to the office operator and she commented that she hears this all of the time. Find a different group for your safety.

Just the worst ever dr does not care about her patient s the office staff is just as rude as the doctor . i will neaver go back

On hold for over 45 minutes. Terrible office staff and patient treatment.

I wrote a complaint letter about Dr . Francis which went hospital administration. Let administration know how you feel about Dr. Francis. Administration is above doctors. Don't be afraid to complain.

The first thing Dr .Francis did the first time she saw me was yell at my bedside. She upset me further. She spoke like she had an axe to grine with me even though she never met me before . She spoke nicely to my nurse before coming into my room and being rude to me.She didn't care that I was badly injured. She is a total jerk. If you're ever in the hospital and need a psychiatrist say you don't want Dr . Paula- Francis.

Office staff is extremely unprofessional. I was treated with nothing but attitude, yelling, and transferred calls .Before I could explain anything, I was cut off and transferred to another office rep. I explained to her that I have had a very hard time getting a response from the office. The office assistant then went on to tell me that she didnâ??t appreciate me saying that I have had a hard time . The office staff is terrible and needs to trained tremendously. I am always extremely nice to anyone I speak to on the phone (maybe too nice sometimes) but I have never been treated so poorly by an office staff member in a doctor's office before. It is sad because the first people you speak to in an office is the office staff. Not a great first impression at all.
