Dr. Paula Bordelon, DO

I hadn't seen Dr. Bordelon since 2015 when I had the shingles. This month I had an occasion to visit her for high blood pressure. I was instantly reminded why I like her so much. She was friendly and professional but down to earth. She didn't yell at me either for not coming in in 2016.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bordelon's for around 2 years now. I say this with great sencerity that she is one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by. She has the most caring heart for her patients. She will not stop looking for an answer to your illness til she finds it. Thanks to Dr. Bordelon my bladder Cancer was caught early and treated before it was major. She felt I had something more than a bladder infection and she was right. I have complete confidence in her and her entire staff. The medical facility and all the employees there has a very warm and welcoming feeling when you first enter the front door and are greeted by Brenda and Wanda you know right then that you are in a good place. Thanks Dr. B love you ......

Moving frequently and having health issues results in having seen a fair share of physicians in my lifetime. I have had a few excellent doctors, a number of mediocre doctors, and a couple that were less than mediocre. Dr. Bordelon ranks in the very top tier of the best o the best. It's critical to get a physician who really knows their stuff..and it is nice to get one who relates warmly and easily with patients...to get both in one person is a wonderful gift and that is Dr. Bordelon. She is the only physician who caught one of my diagnoses. She is the only physician who was aware of ( and educated me as well) regarding even over the counter drug combination issues with one of my meds. She was the first to catch a cardiac issue for my husband that his cardiologist initially missed. I could go on. Clearly she is extremely knowledgable...but she is also down to earth; has a warm sense of humor; and is kind, going out of her way to be helpful. I had been looking for three years after my… move for a physician I really trusted with my health needs and am grateful for having been steered to Dr. Bordelon, She is highly sought so appointments for new patients are not quick but well worth the wait.

Dr. Bordelon is in high demand because of her clinical skills, interviewing abilities, diagnostic skills, and willingness to refer to specialties for accurate diagnosis. She types the notes of the visit and sends a copy home with the patient for easy reference. I feel she is a partner in my health and quality of life. Thank you, Dr. Bordelon!

A few years ago my wife and I decided to choose different primary physicians. We selected Georgetown Center for Adult Medicine, my wife selected Dr. George as her primary care physician and I selected Dr. Bordelon as mine. We are both absolutely delighted with our care. I would be remiss not to mention the outstanding very professional office and exceptional nursing staff. The staff is always available to patients and make it so easy to make appointments, refill prescriptions, assist with referrals, or schedule lab work.

My recent visit to see Dr. Paula Bordelon was not only quite necessary, but she made my entire week much nicer with her polite, caring and thoughtful bed-side manner. Thank you SO very much, Dr. Bordelon for listening, assessing my condition, which was spot-on and providing to me ONLY the medication that I needed to get well. Dr. Bordelon even took an extra couple of minutes with me to talk about the recent passing of my mother. Thanks to her, .she made my entire day even sweeter. Dr. Bordelon and her entire staff, especially Wanda has restored my faith in a great place to go when I am ill/sick and seeking tender-loving care from a good physician and the medical staff!!

This physician spends an extraordinary amount of time with you and covers every details of your medical history and medications. She is very knowledgeable , pleasant with excellent people skills. I highly recommend her as a physician and recommend her practice.

I have been going to Dr. Bordelon a little under one year. She has been very thorough and helpful. With all the issues I have had, she has assisted me in getting to the right specialists to help me to become well again. She helps me with the tests I need to find the answers to resolve my concerns.

My title is she is special because I mean that!!! Never have I had a dr. So concerned about my health!! That is the way it is suppose to be but to often we are just rushed in & out! Not with Dr. Bordelon!! You feel like you are the only one she is seeing that day!! Recently went in for what I thought was just to change thyroid meds and just & thought I would mentioned the pain I was having the night before ( which I thought was just gas ) Dr Bordelon checked my stomach and sent me to ER where I had emergency appendectomy. I will never ever look for another doctor. My husband has a new patient visit in January!! She is what a Dr should be & more!! She is Special and a keeper!!!

We recently moved to Georgetown, and Dr. Bordelon was recommended by a pharmacist when we inquired about a new doctor. I have been so pleased, and so has my husband. Prompt appointments, short waiting room times, thorough, unhurried consultations, friendly, helpful front desk staff, and promptly returned phone calls.
