Intelligent and experienced, but opinionated and blunt and not as up-to-date about new medical findings and procedures as she might be. Contrary to what an earlier review said, she did seem to me particularly concerned about adequate health care for patients with low income. She appears fairly sympathetic but somewhat oblivious and has a strong tendency to get histrionic (worked up) about very trivial matters, which makes conversing with her more of strain than it need be.

One of the rudest physicians I have ever met. Profiles patients on ethnicity and economics, and dispenses health care based on such (ie, rich white folks get the treatment, poor and minority don't. Won't admit to errors in diagnosis, even in face medical evidence that directly contradicts diagnosis. Berates and slanders patients who disagree with her or complain about her behavior, calling patients psycotic. Fails to properly examine patients. Poor at dealing with new medical situations, has trouble admitting a lack of knowledge, refuses to refer patients to specialists, eventhough the medical evidence would suggest refferal is proper. *** Beware this Doctor ************
