Dr. Paula Humphrey Kim, MD

Thank god for Dr. paula kim. she is kind ,attentive to your needs and listens to you concerns. I would not go any where else. she is a proud boost to her profession.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Kim's for nearly 25yrs, she is 92 yrs old. The care and compassion she has shown is second to none.

Poor people/customer service skills. I was not comfortable with her presence or bedside manner. She did not make me feel relaxed, and the office staff was just just as rude as she was.

First visit with Dr. Kim for my 80 year old father. She was fantastic! Discovered my father does not have dementia, he has mild cognitive impairment - basically memory issues due to age. She is very easy to talk to, answers all of your questions, does not rush you - a very refreshing doctor in this age of know-it-all, intrusive medical providers.

I've been seeing Dr. Kim for about 10 yrs. She takes time to listen, she explains things well and answers all questions. She has compassion and I feel she genuinely cares about her patients. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Kim is a good doctor overall. However, if you need to go to a doctor urgently, good luck. It takes a month to schedule an appointment. Even for a blood work review! If you choose her as your PCP, you basically need to have an urgent care close by that you can go to as well. No point in having a doctor that is not available to you. Also the front desk staff does not try to work with patients to schedule them faster. I know a lot of offices with high traffic will tell their patients, "Give us a call tomorrow when we open and we'll see if we can fit you in if theres a cancellation." But Dr. Kim's office does not believe in helping their patients. They also do not care much for confidentiality. Last time I was in, a patient was upset about the wait time and left. When asked where the patient is, one of the receptionist stated, "Oh she got mad and left. She was having an attitude problem." Thats not something you say loud enough for a whole lobby full of patients to hear! I will say… that the nurse and PAs that work in the back are very courteous. I just think the front desk staff need some reorganization.
