I saw her several years ago and she has a very very good bedside manner. She gave me both natural remedies in terms of a smoothie recipe to improve my skin and energy levels as well as injections for bald spots. She even gave me a lollypop to distract me from any discomfort from the scalp injections

Was given a squamous cell carcinoma diagnosis which was biopsied by Dr. Nelson's own private lab. After having surgery performed on the area I requested the lab paperwork for my records. I was ignored several times. I was billed over and over for the same invoice which was already paid. Her whole business is a scam.

I went to her family practice several years ago. Paula (it's very difficult to put the Dr. in front of her name) took a biopsy and supposedly sent it to the lab. I never could get the office to answer the phone so that I could get any information on a potentially life threatening disease. In that, I mean was it ever cancerous?! I made several trips to the office, but the doors were always locked! I filed a complaint with the Georgia Medical board and after a couple of years, I finally got a notice from the Medical Board stating "the decision not to prosecute was because they must meet burden of proof .. not necessarily whether the complaint is legitimate or whether there has been a bad result." Now, I am apprehensive about going to and trusting medical professionals.

Google the claims and investigations against her! She and her boyfriend were wiping their sweaty foreheads in Dubai with $100 bills and throwing them over the balcony. In addition to owning all the dermatology practices and biopsy labs she ALSO owns the collection company!!!!!! She was charged with Medicaid fraud and billed 20 million why hasn’t her license been suspended?!?! Why isn’t this monster crook in jail?!?! Google her- Fox Philadelphia news had tons of stories on her!

Dr. Nelson is very thorough and knowledgeable with dermatology. I had a case of alopecia and she covered all the steps to decipher what was going on and what to do to fix the problem.

She is always helpful and willing.

she gets no stars, billing and claims department incompetent and unfeachable. don't go there

I wish I had seen all of these reviews before I started going to this practice. My original dermatologist left the practice and now I know why. I am suddenly getting bills from 2010 because they never submitted these bills to my secondary insurance and I never knew it. Now they want payment and have already sent my bills to a collection agency. Try calling their billing department in Georgia to get things straightened out, and you will get put on eternal hold. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau in the hopes that other people do not go through this painful experience. Stay away!

Stay away!!!! Far, far away!!! Be aware that not only is she involved in billing fraud, but she is cut happy!!! Seems to me that it is a conflict of interest when she owns the office AND the lab that does the biopsies!!! Claims I had melanoma, major surgery, ugly scar, deformed arm, nerve damage, and 6 biopsies preformed by another lab and guess what??? Absolutly no melanoma found anywhere. Took another small spot, sent for biopsy, again to HER lab, she tells me that I need "more margins removed" . Took the biopsy result to TWO different doctors, both say there is NOTHING wrong with me!!! She is nothing but a fraud!!!!!

Stay away, stay very far away from this doctor. I had to give one star, but -0, check out all reviews, federal medicare fraud charges, over billing, double billing.
