Dr. Paula Ruth Schwartz, MD

She is an excellent clinician & will work very hard to find the right treatment for you. Mine was a complicated case & she spent time consulting doctors that specialized in my issues. My issue with her is the insane wait times. I understand that there can be emergencies, but not every single day. The wait times averaged 90 minutes and sometimes 2 hours. There were periods of time I needed to be there 3 times a week - that is a ridiculous amount of wasted time, and she is extremely defensive about it. My advice is if you don't mind spending long hours waiting, she will work hard for you. If you want to try to continue working during treatment, the wait time will make that very difficult.

Ugly inside and outside

Dr Schwartz is an excellent doctor who managed my chemo with grace and ease. I never missed s day of work because of her incredible care. BUT. I must agree with other reviews regarding the office wait time. I would schedule visits on my lunch hour and I would often be there up to 3 hours with most of that sitting and waiting. It’s a shame. I stopped my follow up care because I couldn’t keep waiting

Dr. Schwartz is unpleasant to her staff, wait time was 90 minutes to see her, her attitude toward patients is unpleasant bordering on abusive. Several HIPPA violations during my visit, including offering information on my daughter's visit with her! HORRIBLE PERSON

She makes you feel like you are her only patient and will go to the ends of the earth to help you.

Dr. Schwartz is the best. She is wonderful and really caring about her patients. She was so interested in me and made sure that I followed up on what she thought was a pressing matter not even related to her practice. She even spoke to my family and my other Doctors. She keeps a fantastic record on her patients and you can count on her to give you all the information when you need it. There should be more Doctors like her in practice.

Don't waste you time with this physician who refuses to discuss diagnosis and treatment.
