Went to Dr. Silverman and when she realized test were being held up due to insurance red tape she got me into testing the same day. She was compassionate and concerned. Great visit with a caring doctor.

After starting with another oncologist in another medical organization, I saw Dr. Silverman for a second opinion and frankly, she had me at "hello". Her knowledge and expertise came across immediately as she certainly knows her area well. This and her warm and friendly bedside manner made me so comfortable and confident of her capabilities. I've been under her care in a clinical trail for four months and know that I am receiving the best possible care. I love Dr. Silverman and her entire care team.

Dr. Silverman is a knowledgeable doctor but with poor bedside manner, no eye contact, and doesn’t like to be bothered outside of office hours. I felt very unheard with my concerns and that I was a bother to her. Love her staff and I feel like they compensate for her lack of compassion and kindness. If you want a doctor who looks at you as a person not just a patient then DO NOT have Dr. Silverman treat you with your cancer. Highly disappointed.

She doesn't visit when you are hospitalized even though it's in the same building as her practice. Good luck trying to get to talk to her outside of an appointment. Her nurses prevent you from doing so and these nurses do not care or empathize.
