Dr. Paulina G Kogan

I was referred to Dr. Kogan for a bridge procedure, which as I agreed with my primary dentist was the best option. The first 45 minutes of my appointment were spent being lectured about the benefits of an implant (a much more costly procedure) I spoke up and told Dr Kigan why I was there and was very clear but she insisted until the point I began getting out of the chair. I ended up staying to my dismay once the bridge prep began she drilled directly into a nerve I lifted my hand to signal her to stop but the pain was so intense I was shocked. A day and a half later I developed a serious infection in that tooth which resulted in going to endodontist for a root canal, when I returned to get my bridge placed there was an issue with the impressions so the bridge didn't fit, that should be no surprise since the temporary crown she placed had so many gaps that it was the cause of my infection. I was then hounded directly by Dr Kogan about who would pay for subsequent impressions. I stopped… the conversation and had another temporary bridge placed the gap on the side was so large that when I had it replaced it measures 3 mm and had the signs of a start to an infection. Needless to say I did not make a follow up appointment nor will I. I went to another dentist who took a single impression the next day and had a PERFECTLY fitting bridge put in a week later. I strongly discourage ANYONE from using this dentist for more than a cleaning ( but she might screw that up too)

Dr. Kogan and Dr. Silverman's office is very patient friendly. The facilities are well-maintained and the waiting area is very comfortable. Dr. Kogan and Dr. Silverman have great personalities that make going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

Dr. Kogan's patience with anxious patients (me!) is really good. She can numb my mouth easily whereas I've had dentists who either gave me facial droop from overnumbing or never got full numbing results. Ouch. Dental hygienists are all new and definitely better and more professional than in past years.
