Dr. Paulo G Nogueira

We came in to get my mom’s root canal done by Dr. Paulo Nogueira. The day before, she had already completed X-rays at Diamond Head Dental, where we were referred from — and they were supposed to send the X-rays directly to this office. Despite that, the front desk tried to charge us again for new X-rays. We’re busy people — we don’t have time to run back and forth when everything was already handled. My mom was in pain, and we simply asked if she could be treated that day. Instead of compassion or professionalism, Dr. Paulo started yelling at us, raising his voice at both me and my mom. He attempted to give me an “etiquette” lecture, which was completely out of line. With all due respect, I am far more accomplished and educated than this doctor — he is certainly not the person to teach me manners. What was most disturbing was his tone toward my mother, who was clearly in discomfort. He actually told us to “never come back.” I had to stop the conversation and walk out. Who does he… think he is to speak to my mom like that? The experience was rude, condescending, and extremely unprofessional. If you value basic respect — especially when your loved one is in pain — I would not recommend this clinic! ONE STAR BECAUSE I HAVE TO, OTHERWISE YOU DONT EVEN DESERVE THAT!
