Dr. Pavlina Suchanova, MD

I just had deviated Septum and turbinate surgery by Dr. Suchanova last week. She was the kindest, caring doctor I have seen in a long time. I was really scared and not sure about this surgery in Herman Memorial Surgical Hospital because I normally go to Methodist. But the staff, the facility and Dr. Suchanova put me at ease very caring and professional. I didn't have any pain after the surgery just Tylenol and Advil but really didn't have any pain. Healing was a breeze with her state of the art procedures. I'm so happy I finally did the surgery and she was my doctor. Thank you so much

Dr. Suchanova is truly the best of the best. Her enthusiasm is a fantastic indicator of her dedication and knowledge of all things ENT. I searched online for a specialist after years of visits with other doctors & specialists with zero relief. Dr. Suchanova diagnosed a deviated septum at my 1st examination. I was in a near fatal car wreck in 1996 and, among other injuries, broke my jaw in 3 places. And my nose, apparently, which went undiagnosed for 25+ years. Dr. Suchanova also diagnosed a deformed sinus once she recv’d my X-rays. After exhausting all options to relieve my chronic sinusitis, we opted for surgery. It was exactly what I needed! Dr. Suchanova corrected my septum & placed an implant in my nose to increase my air intake. No pain after the procedure, just discomfort. Dr. Suchanova is fantastic. After all my years of misdiagnosed misery she figured out what was wrong with me in 2 visits, and cured me with 1 surgery. If you have any ENT problems, Dr. Suchanova is your… salvation.

Dr Pavlina Suchanova is an excellent doctor!! She really listens and does not give up trying to help you no matter how difficult the case. She diagnosed the source of my chronic sinusitis. My deviated septum was repaired in 2019 and my breathing, sleep, and quality of life improved greatly. I have extreme allergies and while I have had set backs due to them, she continues to provide effective treatments to improve my health. ML

Excellent visit. Dr Suchanova and her staff put you at ease and are very informative. Gentle, caring and takes time for questions and provides answers. So far, the best ENT visit I’ve ever had.

Dr. Suchanova is awesome. Very welcoming and good bedside manners. She was quick to diagnose my chronic sinusitus and started a treatment plan. She showed me exactly what was wrong with a camera and explained how to resolve it. I highly recommend her, i personally think she is the best in Houston and and even the country! I feel like a complete new person after seeing her. i cant believe i didnt see her sooner.

I give Dr. Suchanova 10+ stars. It was a long wait in the waiting room, but worth it. I feel after many years of living with migraines, facial pain, & sinus infections God found me Dr. Suchanova. I feel I have an action plan to feeling healthy again. She took the time to really listen to my issues and concerns. Her nurse is so caring as well. Dr. Suchanova is enteric, knowledgeable, & you can tell she loves what she does & wants to helps. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Pavlina P. Suchanova, MD is God sent. I was a previous patient before and loss her for a good while. Having to endure with other crude doctors made me look for Dr. Suchanova again. I have never received the level of compassion, concern, and great medical care from anyone else but Dr. Suchanova. Dr. Suchnova goes above and beyond ensuring that the issues I struggle with are taken care of by her or she finds the appropriate specialist to refer me to in order to solve my issue. Dr. Suchanova cares for her patient like family and I'm so blessed to have her as my physician.

Dr. Suchanova is a GREAT doctor, very personable and extremely knowledgeable, I noticed that the minute she walked the door and started taking care of my issues from day 1, through the procedure, and post-op. Her professionalism mirrors into her staff too. Carolyne was amazing to call me and answer all the questions I had. I have a multitude of allergies which caused polyps to grow everywhere in the nasal and paranasal cavities creating unbearable sleeping problems and sleep apnea. In addition to that, I had a deviated septum after my nose broke 20 years ago. Very messed up! She removed the polyps and straightened back the nose via an endoscopic nasal septoplasty through a flawless outpatient surgery. During the procedure she installed a Latera dissolvable implant to help the cartilage to recover and strengthen back during the healing period. I can't be enough grateful for what she is doing to help me feel the air like I never felt before in my life. God bless you Dr. Suchanova.

I was very happy with the results of my procedure. Dr. Suchanova does a great job and is very friendly and easy to talk to. Great doctor.

I have been to the clinic approximately 4 times. Each time she is running behind by about 1-2 hours. My last visit, for final post-op checkup, she was a no show. My appointment was at 7:25, the first of the day, and by 8 AM, I left the office. Her skills are excellent, bedside manner is fine, but her tardiness and lack of respect for others people time is a 0. I did see her colleague, Dr. Martin, for my first post-op appointment, he was on time. This leads to me believe that it isn’t the office in general that lacks punctuality, but specific persons instead.
