9 years for Unlawfully Dispensing Prescription Painkillers and Health Care Fraud

Dr. Jain is very knowagble, undetstanding with his paitents. Talk out what the problem is, to best reach treatment to best help and benefit his patients.

When I call asking for a refill to be faxed to my pharmacy it takes the dr 3 to 5 weeks to get it done. I am waiting in the waiting room for 3 hours just to see the dr for 5 minutes. I get rushed out after they take me back in the patient rooms. Over books his appointments more than he can handle.

A "victim" of the '94 Norhridge Quake (suffered crushing injuries on all but pelvis & ankle of my rt side), Dr. Jain LITERALLY stopped me from committing suicide due to the pain I was in. After a thoro medical exam and *2* visits to make sure my pain meds were what *I* needed to get out of pain & not wake every night, lit'lly SCREAMING from pain, I now see him 4x annually (as req'd by law) & can now work & function again like a "normal" person. Should doc be presecuted, call ME to the stand... when they hear "the WHOLE truth" & nothing but, I'll give 'em a pc o MY mind abt what the Feds are doing to CP patients because THAT is what's criminal. All Dr. Jain is "guilty" of is putting his PATIENTS' well-being before his medical license (& for GODSSAKE, what do you expect chronic pain specialists & neurologists (nervous system = body's way to transmit pain) to write Rxs for? ANTIBIOTICS? Hang in there doc. You may have "4 (Against) Your Side" but there are MILLIONS of under-Rx'd CP… patients who are pulling for you, 1000%! PS: If "Narc" ended up in the ICU 2x it was coz he didn't take his Rx as PRESCRIBED. / NEVER heard doc discuss another's case ... if overhearing something you shouldn't (or desire privacy) CLOSE the exam room door! Re: Doc's staff -- totally replaced by some of THE most caring & professional workers I've ever seen. (Others WERE rude but one whispered to me of how hard it was to work for docs who DIDN'T Rx for ppl in pain. Ie, tho the worker had thought said patient legitimate, doc saw SOMETHING was not right & must've turned them away.) It's a doctor's job to alleviate suffering but s/he can't force the patient to follow her/his orders. Am urine tested EVERY visit (& posters saying "No UA -- No Appointment. See front desk b4 using bathroom." .) Yes, sometimes docs have so many patients (especially CP docs) they haven't the time to be as thorough as s/he AND/OR the pt may wish. But calling Dr. Jain nothing more than a "pill dispensary and/or 'Doctor Feelgood' is simply WRONG!

Un-professional, divulges information on other patients when a confidentiality statement is signed; doesn't care about other physicians or the meds they put you on, he changes them. Gives out Narcs too freely, and in high doses- even if at first on starting out on the meds. Unfortunately his actions sent me to ICU twice. Once, actually died. He did not check my other meds or doses before he put me on his regiment.

This doctor has the rudest staff I have ever seen. When you are on pain medications and call three weeks in advance to get them refilled and they still dont refill them you are likely to start going into withdrawals. There were patient charts in every room that I had access to read if I wanted to, the doctor spent 5 minutes with me on my first visit, and he is now being investigated by the DEA for handing out to many pain medications. A big fat NO for returning to this doctor.

Dr. Jain covers the entirety of Southern NM after Las Cruces injured patients are dumped on TX trauma centers. There are no qualified physicians (neurologists) practicing pain management in the entire half of the state. He works from 7 am to after 7 pm daily plus makes hospital rounds. His office is routinely filled with 35 or more miserable, disabled and post trauma patient. It is difficult to get an appointment because he does invasive procedures in the am as well. His medical skills are state of the art and he takes all of the time needed to explain medical issues. He routinely screens all patients by UAs for illicit drug use and inappropriate level of his prescribed meds. We could not live in Las Cruces were he not in practice here. RN of 43 years experience in ED trauma administration, open heart surgery, ambulance and flight nursing and spouse to a spinal injured patient.

Doctor is extremely knowledgeable which leads to him being overbooked & overworked. I trust everything he has told me and treatments tried. STAFF NEEDS TO BE REPLACED in entirety, IMMEDIATELY!!! Prescriptions never get mailed or filled out properly, doctors paperwork never completed on time by staff, leading to regular instances of patients not getting meds, returned calls, or ability to get a hold of anyone after hours in case of emergency.You'll need A LOT of patience to stay with this doctor but his knowledge is worth some of the aggravation you will definitely experience!

After waiting for over 2 months to get my appt. I had to wait over an hour too be seen. Aside for the polite and professional staff, this Physician had no Bed Side Manner, didn't take much time to explain my condition or concerns. I felt sorry for his own staff, that had to listen too his yell, and act unprofessional to them in front of other patients. I will not be returning!

Horrible office staff, they are rude and uncaring. It takes them two weeks to call in a prescription and then they act like you are a drug addict.
