Pedro Acosta Valdes, APRN, RN, APN, NP, is an experienced family nurse practitioner and primary care provider with more than 30 years of experience in the medical field. He has a strong background in adult and pediatric primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management. Originally trained and practiced as a physician in Cuba, he developed specialized experience in pediatrics before continuing his professional career and advanced nursing education in the United States.

Pedro Acosta Valdes earned a Doctorate in Family Health Nursing from Universidad de Ciencias Médicas Carlos J. Finlay and a Master’s degree in Family Health Nursing from South University in Savannah. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico.
