Dr. Pedro Ballester, MD

I was not treated as a whole person. I did not feel listened to except when a resident was in with for 1 visit.I changed Dr. because of the care. The receptionist called and told me I needed repeat blood work, when it came back she said the Dr wanted to see me that it was nothing serious. When I went in he told me I have leukemia after seeing him several times he never mentioned it again. Thank god for the Hope Center.

I hope someone you Love goes through what I did. Btw, your office smells of a dirty cat box.

This physician does not listen to his patients. He actually makes you feel worse when you got here because he does not listen to at all. The receptionist is rude and snippy! The office is old and dirty! The phone is hardly answered and when it is the receptionist is very unpleasant! He does no assessment of health complaints and will not listen to anything unless it is his idea. Very unprofessional very nontherapeutic. The examination rooms look like a museum with unused equipment for colonoscopy procedures hanging from the walls. Very strange and eirie feeling! He listens to your heart and lungs like he is just going through the motions almost like a remote action. I would not recommend any one go there if you value your health.

Tried to call for almost 2 hours for a new patient appt - phone kept ringing busy! When I finally did get through, a very snippy sounding receptionist told me that the Dr was not accepting new Medicaid patients despite his taking the insurance and being listed in my provider directory. Must be nice to pick and choose when you want to take Medicaid patients even though you are listed as accepting the insurance. Not bothering calling back.

Most amazing and caring physician I have ever seen!
