Dr. Pedro Luis Cardich, MD

Dr Cardich is a wonderful neurologist and I would recommend him to anyone needing a neurologist. He is very thorough, professional, kind, and knowledgeable of his field of expertise! He is a wonderful neurologist!!

It took forever for my mother to get in to see him, and since then we have had nothing but problems. First, he refused to prescribe a second round of Physical Therapy, which the PT office said they had never heard of a doctor refusing to prescribe a second round. He never gave a diagnosis of the issue, instead referring to a different doctor under investigation for Medicare fraud, then when we returned to him for the results, we only saw his PA who referred to yet another doctor. That doctor wasn’t even accepting new patients. When we asked to retrieve records and go to a different doctor, his office staff asked “Do you still want us to refer you to [the doctor who wasn’t accepting new patients]?” The one time we saw him, he seemed like a good doctor, but his follow up and office staff needs major improvement.

Initially I was very impressed with his knowledge of seizure medications. My son was given a prescription for a new seizure medicine, but no instructions for how to add the medicine in. I had to go in to get instructions from the nurse. Then we were to remove one of his older medicine, but again, no directions. So I called not once, but twice, no response. Then I went in to the office two times, was not able to see the nurse nor the doctor and asked for a return phone call, and again, no return phone call. After trying to get an answer for over a month, I spoke with one of the doctors in his practice and she spoke to him and called me to relay a message to me that I needed to bring my son back in. You would think at this point his staff would call me to give me that message but nope. No phone call. I'm done. I don't care if I have to drive 90 minutes to Tulsa, I've never had a doctor not return my call in the 23 years that my son has been seeing a neurologist!
