Dr. Pedro Joel Penalo Vargas, MD

First appt. sat for 45min in office past the time. Was charged a copay for wellness visit then was told to to come back for blood draw I did then was called to come back for consultation and wanted to charge another copay. Called this year to get blood draw then make appt. receptionist said would have to see me again then draw blood then see dr.again. I don't feel this is acceptable treatment.

Too many assistants that are not sure how to evaluate the patient

There's no empathy or willingness to assist patients. All they do is prescribe more and more meds never truly diagnosing the cause. They keep changing their policies. They give you an appointment at a certain time and they take forever to still attend you. You wait over an hour and don't even get to see the dr but his assistants for about 5 minutes.

Excelent Experience

I would not recommend Dr. Penalo or his staff to anyone, my mother was under his care and all they ever did was prescribe more meds and lots of labs and truly never diagnosed her. My mother passed away last week and if she had been diagnosed correctly she might still be with us.
