Dr. Pegah Yousefzadeh, DO

I am very disappointed with this doctor. She was condescending, did not take me or my symptoms seriously, and shot down any of my questions without providing an explanation. For example, I asked "are you testing for Reverse T3?" and she said, "no, that's pointless". She turned down any source of information I had as if it wasn't derived from evidence-based research (it was). I understand some patients look on google or WebMD and say things that may not be true, but at least provide an explanation to the patient and any credible resources so they can utilize so they can learn accurate information. The only thing she did right was that she ordered bloodwork to further examine my symptoms, which was only after I asked her to. I left this office in tears.

Misdiagnosed me. Prescribed medication that would have left me in a coma. Thank God my other doctors correctly diagnosed me, and made it very clear that I should NEVER see Dr. Yousefzadeh again. She prescribes meds without bloodwork...her bedside manner is terrible...I'm a Christian woman but if I have to call her a quack in order to save someone's life, then I will. Please do not see her. Total incompetence

I came to my appointment presenting with 8 symptoms and updated bloodwork. She proceeded to tell me that everything looked good with my bloodwork and that it was probably anxiety and I should go on medication. Just to clarify, I was not experiencing any anxiety. She was condescending in her approach and didn’t listen very well. She told me to just go to therapy. All I can say is that this is not a doctor who will look at your health to find explanations. She will rush to send you to the psychiatrist.
