Dr. Peggy Ann F Rupp, MD

I was very pleased with my first visit from all of the staff. I never met her before, but I felt Dr. Rupp was very caring and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and had a good feeling upon leaving. I am glad I found this doctor for my needs.

Dr Rupp is worth the wait. She was Right on target with her diagnosis! The medication she prescribed changed my life. A few months after I started seeing her I felt 10 years younger. She is a no nonsense doctor and I appreciate that. Don’t let her blonde hair and beautiful appearance fool you. She is one smart physician. I am blessed I found her. Her office crew should get some kudos also. They are sharp and cheerful.

Dr. Rupp spent a lot of time with me figuring out what is wrong. I never felt rushed and I truly feel she cared about me. She was very through and I highly recommend her and her staff for your health concerns.

Dr. Peggy Rupp was amazing! She is the only Rheumatologist who finally listened to me! She has me on a regament I can live with. I was very impressed how she listened and then informed me how she wanted to treat my RA. She was compassionate and she has the best office staff I have ever incountered. Thank you Boise Arthritis

My experience with Dr. Rupp mirrored the other one star ratings here. She is very unprofessional and uninformed medically. She blatantly criticizes other doctors diagnosis, is completely dismissive of patients, refused to look at my previous medical records with confirming lab results of my prior diagnosis. She made a bizarre outburst at one point. Waste of time, money and energy.

Dr Rupp is a great physician and treats her patients with respect and listens to them. I can't say enough about her.

I like Dr. Rupp. Cons: She is always tardy and seems to be in a rush to get out of there. These are my only complaints. Otherwise, a knowledgeable doctor.

I am disappointed in the treatment that my mom received from Dr. Ruff. I spent about an hour on the phone with my crying mother this evening. She said that the doctor asked how she knew she had RA, my moms answer was that is what her previous Dr said. Ruffs response, that's not a good enough reason. Ruff belittled my mother and was more then rude to her. Ruff did not answer questions and was quick to pass judgment. I am very disgusted by the way my mother was treated and the lack of empathy from Dr. Ruff. If you don't like what other doctors have proscribed or diagnosed a patient you don't take it out on the patient. And when the patient tries to ask questions, the doctors response shouldn't be, 'Your time is up" and leave the room.

Bad bedside manner and does not care or listen! She is outdated and useless as a doctor. She is only there to gather a paycheck.

Everyone else here is right about her. She is NOT a notable Rheumatologist, but she means well. She does not have many answers for anything. Yes that is true. But she can sometimes diagnose and get you treated. Her followup system is the worst, followup is with her secretary - for example, when your labs come back you get the good or bad news from the Secretary - perhaps that shows lack of empathy? It definitely can leave you stressed out when you are told something bad but have no answers...? She also does do emails, phone calls or any kind of contact beyond the office visit. On the plus side, she is always taking on new patients and is very easy to get into and see - that alone tells you something while many other Rheumatologists are not taking on new patients and are scheduled out months in advance. Rupp is a good first Rheumatologist to get in and see right away and down the road maybe look for another one if you need one. The only other positive is she is really attractive for… her age and looks like a model. Intimidating when she tells you to undress but she means well i think. Just old school doctor and she seems to be real honest as well, just not helpful and can never really answer questions. My .02.
