Office staff pleasant & initial visit smooth. Listened to complaints, followed up & thorough exam Responded to inquiries for results over the phone in a timely manner (one msg, received call back from staff w/i 3 hrs)

I went to see Dr. Lavian at Morristown; I was late for my appointment, still I was taken in within 5-10 minutes. The nurse asked me questions that were in the questionnaire and completed them herself on the system, to make it easier for me, and also expedite the process. Dr. Lavian came in a few minutes later. He was very patient and expressed concern. He went out to call a nurse to run a test for me; within seconds he came back in and did the test himself, as the nurse was attending to another patient. I appreciate it because he did not simply wait for the nurse to show up; but did it himself, and gave the results too. I recommend this Doctor.

I was looking for a family physician who I can visit regularly for annual checkups, etc. I chose Dr. Lavian due to the proximity of the office to my house and based on the very positive reviews on this site. I however found the experience horrendous. I saw Dr. Lavian for an annual physical. He seemed to really rush through any questions about family history and my lifestyle as though he was just asking them to just go through the motions. After my bloodwork came in, I never got a call about it. I had to call them several times just to speak to them about the results. When I asked them to email it to me they said that they don't have internet. What? Then I asked them to send it in the mail, and they said that they don't have much postage in the office and wouldn't be able to mail it. After I asked them on a different call, they agreed they would. They didn't actually mail the blood work until 3 repeated phone calls. NE-VER, A-GAIN!

This primary care doctor is performing workman's compensation and personal injury denials. He is a dirt ball trying make money at no expense. He denies my epidural injections that makes me work. He never even seen me, now my doctor has to fight my bills. Stay a way from this charlatan. Why does he make opinions on orthopedics conditions?
