Meet Dr. Percy Torkornoo, DDS
Dr. Percy Torkornoo earned Doctor of Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry. He then joined the United States Army where he served as dental officer for four years. He completed a tour in Iraq where he provided comprehensive dental care. He received two Army Commendation Awards and The Army Achievement Medal.
He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in endodontics (root canal), oral surgery, crown and bridges, periodontal therapy, esthetic dentistry and denture treatment.
Dr. Torkornoo is a member of American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Torkornoo is dedicated to providing you and your family with comfortable, quality and comprehensive dental care. In order to keep up with advances in health care, he has adopted latest technologies including digital x-ray, Diagnodent (laser for detecting decay), digital charting, Invisialign (clear braces) and Cerec (same day …crown).

Wonderful dentist and person, his staff is kind and courteous. I have no dental insurance so Dr. Torkornoo works with me since I am paying out of pocket.

The staff was friendly as I arrived but once I got back to my chair there was another lady standing there who was there the whole time watching and I was never told who she was or why she was there. I was not told what tooth they were working on or why until I asked to make sure. It was not even the tooth I went in for. I was told the filling was loose. I was given two shots of Novocaine and he was not gentle by any means. I was tense from that point on because it hurt. He started to drill and it hurt so I made a noise to let him know. He then gave me a third shot. He waited maybe 5 mins and then tried again only for there to be even more pain. So he went back and gave me a 4th shot. I was clenching my arms tight and I felt so stressed. There was no communication between the dentist and me. He never said anything before he decided to give me another shot he just did it. It still hurt the last time he drilled but I didn't want another shot of Novocaine so I got through it. He sped… through the rest of the process and sent me off. I felt traumatized and so stressed when I left. I have had fillings done before and never experienced anything like this. I will never ever go back!

I was at another dentist and came to Dr. Torkornoo for a root canal only, but I'm switching over now. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating; one of them gave me her snack she brings to work when they found out I hadn't eaten yet that day and would be starving after my procedure. They worked with my discount plan to make sure I paid the least amount, and did my cleaning too when I said my other dentist was making me wait a month.All around fantastic service. Plus, tv's on the ceiling.
