This dr had me get an unnecessary ct scan. Told me I needed the scan. It came back perfectly clean. Told me later it was to cure my ptsd from a dog bite. If he thought I had ptsd he should’ve sent me to a psychologist not a scanner that shoves tons of radiation in my body. I used to be perfectly healthy physically. I did the scan thinking I actually needed it. My body has not been the same since. It’s been a year. Meeting this dr and listening to his recommendation has been the biggest life changing regret of my life. His recommendation has decreased my health and well-being. He told me the scan was safe and well for someone perfectly healthy it is not. I am forever changed in a negative way and believe he has shaved years off my life from doing that scan on me.

Dr.P saved my life. I have never been sick. I yoga daily, have never eaten meat, or smoked and live a simple and honest life. One day I noticed a bump in my neck. Dr P recommended tests and The bump turned out to be advanced cancer. He guided me and my family through the ups and downs and through the fears of surgery, radiation and chemo. His surgical skills made an operation that other said took there surgeon 6 hours last only 2 and left me with no nerve weaknesses. He is honest, he cares and he worried for me. He gives 110% to his patients that need it. He has been a miracle in my life.

I was told I have hyperparathyroidism after my cancer treatment (kidney) and very elevated calcium levels, which needed to be addressed since I only have one kidney now and can't afford to have calcium related kidney stones. I did the scan to determine where the damaged glands might be. They did not show up clearly on the scan and Dr. Parmar said the surgery would be useless on me and not successful. I then went to UCSD to see Dr. Bouvet and he sent my scan to a specialist that reads these scans. He came back and said your surgery will be a challenge, but you would most definitely benefit from a successful surgery. I had him perform the surgery (removing 3 of the damaged glands) and it was a success. My PTH levels have dropped back to normal. So much for Dr. Parmar, NOT a fan.

Dr. Parmar took care of me for my salivary gland blockage. He was great, reassuring and funny. He took his time and listened. He could tell i was scared but was reassuring and kind. Best doctor i have seen. Well worth my time and money!

Dr. Parmar has taken care of me for my head and neck cancer. I had lump in my throat and it turned out to be a rare tumor that no one has ever heard of. Surgery and radiation and 2 years later and I am still disease free and doing great. I know I am lucky to be alive and its all due to him. I will always be grateful to Dr. Parmar and Dr. T. They are the dream team!

Dr. Parmar recently did my tonsillectomy. He and his staff were great. I was prepared going in, I was taken care of through out the process in an humane manner. He is the best!

I just had surgery with Dr. Parmar earlier this month. He is great! He did my thyroid operation and all turned out better than expected! I give him my highest recommendation

Amazing doctor. Board certified and fellowship trained. He did my parotid surgery and I have done great!

Dr. Parmar is personable and patient. He took care of me recently for an emergent neck infection that developed into an abscess due to my history of radiation several years ago. Not your everyday medical issue but one that could have been life threatening. He was kind to me and took the time daily to spend with my wife who never left my bedside. He may be “all business” at times but at times you need to take care of business. Not all doctors care. It’s a job. Not all doctors are good at their job. Dr. Parmar is and his heart and compassion show.
