Dr. Perry Mitchel Herman, MD

I had a number of appointments with Dr. Herman. He was nice enough, but I needed pain management. There was no plan put in place for my treatment. I tried to contact Dr. Herman several times to discuss my concerns. I left multiple messages with his staff, but was told Dr. Herman doesn't "dial out" and I needed to explain my concerns with staff first. Then they would put me through. Never heard from Dr. Herman. His staff was uncaring and rude with their explanation. Horrible way to treat a person, but a pain management patient... unacceptable. There are many Doctors out there, I suggest using a different practice.

You're never rushed when you visit Dr Herman. He takes time and discusses the different treatment options that you have. He listens to what you say which is important with chronic pain. I would definitely recommend him.

My experience with Dr Herman has been so positive. Having been through several other doctors with less than positive results I decided to try a Pain Management doctor. I am so glad I did. He answered all my questions and offered a clear and concise treatment plan. His cortisone shots worked magic and the exercises and advise he offered were extremely helpful. I highlyrecommend him.

I have suffered with pain in my right knee for over 14 years since knee surgery for meniscus & cartridge. In these years I have had a series of Synvic shots after the surgery, and it did not work. The last 8 years the pain was so bad I had trouble walking any distance, I had a limp, could not walk steps, could not do athletic activities, like tennis, bowling or pickle ball. About three years ago I was given a new series of shots but again no relief. I have seen three different Orthopedists, had x-rays, MRI's no bone to bone contact. All they would say is it is Arthritis, and to take Advil as needed. Well the good news is at the urging of a friend they strongly recommended Dr. Herman. I made the appointment and saw the Doctor two weeks ago. He performed a nerve block, a new procedure and IT WORKED!! For the first time in 14 years I am pain free and will go back to the gym and bowling to start. Thank you Dr. Herman you changed my life.

I’m very happy to have found Dr. Hermanfor my chronic pain. The office has been very accommodating to my needs. I never feel as though I’m a just number and highly recommend him for your medical care. Dr. Herman is compassionate and kind but most importantly very knowledgeable about pain management.

After seeing various other pain management professionals, Dr. Herman partnered with me in examining all the factors contributing to my pain as well as my long history. He spent as much time as I felt I needed, and crafted an exercise routine customized to addressing my pain sources. We were of like mind in believing that working hard at targeted muscle strengthening, even on my own, would bring relief more than invasive procedures which hadn't worked. I felt confident that he knew the details of my specific case, and he really provided the guidance I needed until I was stable and got my life back.

I found Dr. Herman to be caring and knowledgeable with regard to your problem. I have seen him tackle my problem from a very different side than other doctors have. He takes the time to think it thru.

Dr. Herman took time with me to understand my condition. He seems to have a really good understanding of what was causing my pain. He is a very responsive and caring doctor who listened to what I have to say. His approach to solving my pain was very individualized and unique. I highly recommend him.
