Dr. Richardson would not humor the idea of, or treat, a condition that I had been diagnosed with prior to moving to the DC area. He assumed that tests run by my previous neurologist were inaccurate without running any tests himself. In my case, Dr. Richardson was just another doctor who did not listen.

I have been blown off by so many doctors. It was really refreshing to have Dr. Richardson spend a good amount of time with me: carefully and thoroughly examining me, going over my test results, taking an extensive history, and ultimately coming up with several diagnoses that no one else previously had bothered to do. Then making recommendations for steps to take for treatment that will ultimately help relieve me of the terrible pain I've been suffering from for almost 20 years, so that I don't have to rely so much on the opiates the "pain management specialists" have led me to believe were the only answer, which I don't want to be stuck on the rest of my life. Dr. Richardson has given me hope!

I have been suffering from back pain for 7 years. No doctor took time to truly examin me. I am really pleased to have gone to him. If you want someone to take of of you more than his money, then go to this doctor. I wish there were more like him.

I have been seeing Dr. Richardson for 4 years and he is great! When I was told I needed surgery by another doctor who didn't want to spend any time talking to me, Dr. Richardson took the time to help me make an educated decision and to feel better about that decision. He also actually listens to what I have to say and adjusts my treatment accordingly.
