Dr. Perry Neal Willette, MD

Dr. Willette was my wife’s General Practitioner. After attending a few of her office visits, I asked him to be my doctor. He listens very carefully and caringly. He has is certainly competent, but also believes in the ability of his patients. We were sorry to lose him when he left Scripps, but I’m glad to see he is practicing again.

Phony as a $3 dollar bill. Tells you one thing and then does what he wants to do. I left Escondido that is closer and went to Rancho Bernardo to get a good doctor. Escondido office has a problem. Will not go back there again.

Dr. Willette is a wonderful doctor. I am sad that he has retired so suddenly

Dr Willette is still my doctor until the end of this month when I will be changing. I arrived 15 min. late for an appointment -- my fault, but I thought I was on time. The receptionist went back to ask Dr W if he'd see me and came back with "no, you need to make another appt." The large reception room, which usually has a dozen people waiting, had only one or two. This was a follow-up visit for me. Dr W said I probably had tendonitis; to wear a brace for a month and if swelling does not go down come back for an X-ray. That's all I needed. How much time does that take? Five minutes for a referral?. I would not complain if he had made me wait rather than come back. I waited 15 min for him on the previous visit. Instead, Dr. W would rather impress on me the sanctity of his schedule while keeping the new free time as his personal time.

Dr. Perry is a caring and competant physician. I would recommend him to a friend or relative. First class care.

Excellent communication skills. Has a preventative focus. Readily refers to other specialities when needed. Compassionate.
