Dr. Petagaye Wakesha English, MD

I will not be returning. She non engaging, doesn't listen, never ask a question on why I was there to visit her, completely uninformative regarding options in medical care. She doesn't project a positive attitude or image. She lacks the ability to connect to a patient or offer additional details on how they should move forward with their individual medical care. I felt very uncomfortable with her. I will be searching for another family doctor. I wouldn't take my dog to her.

Dr. English, was not engaging, did not listen to my concerns, she comes off as off Standish. I felt very uncomfortable with her to the point I didn't feel comfortable to ask additional questions. I will be looking for another family doctor. She was quite disappointing.

I went to see Dr Englush for a meet and greet before seeing if she would be a good fit for me. Thank God for Meet & Greets because she definitely was not what I was looking for in a primary care physician. She had the personality of a rock, a walking robot with 0 emotion. I left that office like wow! is this how medical professionals are in MI. I thought and prayed long and hard about keeping my appointment with her even after the disastrous meet & greet but then I stumbled on a review on her while sitting in my car. I called my husband and he said to me we have excellent medical insurance why would you waste it on a Dr your not comfortable with, keep looking you will find another one. And he was right. The next day I found me a great Dr who is great at what he does funny and made my first visit an overall amazing experience. The office staff and nurses are equally as nice. I know that medical care has changed over the years but Dr English entire personality or lack of was a total… detourant for me.

Saw Dr. English as a primary care physician- bedside manner is non-existent, told me the medication I was on wasn’t insulin (I’ve been an insulin dependent diabetic for 10 years) and became angry when I knew more about my disease than her (she’d never heard of it). Specialists that I have shared my Dr. English experiences with have all questioned if she is indeed a DO and are baffled at how she was able to obtain a medical license. Hands down the scariest, most disturbing experience I have had in my 10 years of continued care.
