Dr. Petar N Novakovic

As another review says, Dr. Novakovic himself may be fine, but the front office, support staff, and third-party medical billers are extremely difficult to work with. I came to the Chandler office for a routine, preventative, annual physical. I was crystal clear from the beginning that I wanted absolutely nothing done outside of a standard physical, which is covered by my insurance. I was reassured multiple times and by multiple people from scheduling up to my check-in and check-out that I would owe nothing out of pocket. A few weeks later, I received two bills totaling over $500. It turns out that they did not code any of the services as preventative, and they added almost two dozen elective tests to my lab work that I never asked for and didn't even know they were doing. When I told the front office that I never knew about they after the fact, they told me, "yeah, they like to do those things just to be safe," but I would never have agreed to them if they had asked. I'm now trying to… resolve the surprise bills and the office is refusing to return my voicemails. This kind of bait-and-switch billing is highly improper and unethical. The fact that I feel I have no control over my own healthcare is also infuriating. They initially told me that these billing issues would be resolved and that I shouldn't owe anything after they fix the codes, but they still have not done so and now I can't even get anyone on the phone. Doctor's offices should not be allowed to do this to people.

He saved my life. I will be forever grateful for that. He's a wonderful Dr. Doctors . I tell everyone he's the best Doctor in Az.

My mother has been a patient of Dr Novakovic for serveral years and I only recently got involved in her care as she is aging and having problems - It is obvious from my interaction with everyone in this office that from Dr. Navakovic to the reception personnel that they care about their patients. They have gone out of their way to help and treat my mother the best possible ways - I highly recomment Dr Novakovic's practice...

The doctor can be good when he wants to be. The PA's are great his NP needs to take more classes and learn to have good bedside manners. However in the time that I have been attending there have only been 2 ladies at front desk which were very helpful and very kind. Every since they have been gone the rest of the staff is no good. Especially the Office Manager she never answers or nor can you get her on the phone or she is never in the office. She is either always late or gone from the office. Her assistant is just the same doesn't answer the phone or won't speak with you if your in the office. I have sat in the lobby and I can hear the staff always talking a lot of crap about the patients. Making fun of them or just being negative and rude. This staff needs major training and a new manager.... If that is cleared up I might consider returning and having my family return.

I have been visiting Dr. Novakovic for 9 years. I started seeing him when I was told by an ocologist that "I was doomed". I was in need of a stem cell transplant, and was not in the best condition to undergo such a procedure. Dr. Novakovic provided treatment that increased my changes of getting through this procedure successfully. I am forever grateful for having been treated by Dr. Novakovic before I underwent such a difficult, life changing event. I continue to see Dr. Novakovic at least twice a year. I live 3 hours away from his office, and I trust him completely in monitoring my health. He is caring, kind, and most importantly very knowledgeable of new methods of treatment. I trust him completely.

My family is so blessed to have found Dr Novakovic! He has helped my son be almost headache free after suffering from a bad concussion! Dr Novakovic takes time with his patients and really does care about them. His daughter Nina is just as great as her dad! Can’t go wrong with this office! The front of the office ladies are great and friendly as well!!

I have been going to dr. Novakovic for over 11 years. Since he has added three physician assistants his Services have gone way downhill. I asked dr. Novakovic to write a pre-op letter he said he would after notifying his office numerous times after 5 months he told me he would not write the letter he lied to me. He once was as a superb Dr not no more his office you have to wait up to an hour and a half to be seen. His stuff is horrible it took them 5 months to send my medical records to another doctor I called them every week. Trying to get paperwork filled out for prescriptions is a nightmare it takes forever you will have to call several times to get these done. Good doctor but the staff is horrendous.

Dr. novakovic Is AMAZING their front office ladies however is why I did not give them 5 stars. Everytime I call in to get a new script, ask them a question or anything else they always put me on hold and transfer me without even considering telling me who they r connecting me to and whoever they transfer me to never answers and I don't hear back from them. I always have to end up calling them back 5 times to get a correct answer. They need to not take so many patients because every appointment is a 3 hour appointment their office cannot handle so many patients. They are very disorganized and never ever have the script ready for me when I walk in the office. I am currently waiting in their office for 40 mins because the script they told me would be ready today was not like always... I will be looking around to switch offices because of his staff. I am very upset because he has been one of the best doctors I have ever had.
