Dr. Pete Simon Coury

I have been a patient for over 8 years at the Southern Road, Mesa office. Not only are the Dr. and PA's excellent, the staff is even better. Never a problem getting in to see a doctor. Always friendly and highly competent. I highly recommend Dr. Coury and his medical practice.

I’m sure Dr Coury is a fine Dr but the staff and PA’s make his practice unsatisfactory. I saw a PA who did a thorough exam and ordered blood work. I was called a week later by an office staff (not the PA) and was told I had a condition that took my breath away. I was just told to find a specialist. No other advise. After seeing the specialist it seems I do not have what I was told. Two weeks of complete stress thinking my life would never be the same and all that for no reason. I’ll grab my blood results looks fir care elsewhere . If Dr Coury is going to put his name on a practice he really should have a better handle on things. It was all just unnecessary stress.

I can't believe that most of the employees in this dr. office weren't wearing masks! What???? Patients were wearing masks and gloves, but not the office or nurses!

I can not believe everyone did not where a mask......I saw Malissa and she was very nice and did wear a mask ...however the girl that took my blood pressure did not wear mask as a few others did not ...in a doctors office......this should be mandatory !!!! even my vet office everyone has to wear a mask!!!! Common sense ......

I selected Dr. Coury's office because it is close.to my home. 3 visits and I have not seen Dr. Coury yet. I want to see the doctor not a PA.

Dr. Coury is very compassionate, always takes time to listen and never makes you wait long to see him. Love Dr. Coury!!

Arrived at 9am for check-in for 9:30am appt. 9:45am still waiting to be called. Finally get called and still have to answer questions with nurse that are on paperwork I filled out, then doctor comes in and again have to answer same question. Do exam, get sent out to lobby to wait for lab work. Sit for another 20 minutes until called, finally get called, the girl stuck me twice and couldn't get anything, another one stuck me and got me. 3rd time is the charm they always say. Receive phone call next day that labs are back, want to book appointment so we can review at the tune of $100.00. I said no, put information in patient portal like I asked and stated on form. Still nothing in patient portal nor a returned phone call like the nurse said she would. Would not recommend this office at all. They don't know what your coming in for even though it's stated when you make appt. They will charge you even though your visit is covered 100% so pay attention to what they are stating… the charge is for.

Did not see Dr Cory saw the other one. He was not to nice seemed to be in a bad mood. I did not like him nor would I go back. If you don't like your job, dont do it .

Dr. Coury is a good doctor for my parents. But a patient like myself who has had weight loss surgery 7 years ago and is experiencing weight gain. I went to him for weight loss maintenance and was told that “obesity” was a choice...

He was assigned as my PCP by my insurance company for over a year and I never met him. I was always referred to a PA. I always ended up with a guy that really was more interested in getting to the next patient than working with me. I guess that's the way that things are done these days, but I don't like it.
