Dr. Peter Robert Letourneau, MD

Recently I needed reconstruction of my collapsed left nostril as a result of extensive Mohs surgery. Dr. Letourneau was assigned the project. After 5 delicate surgeries involving, among other procedures, reforming the nostril with my ear cartilage, I am fully restored – both functionally and cosmetically. No one ever detects that any work has been done on my face. I couldn’t ask for a better result. In addition to his exceptional surgical skill, Dr. Letourneau is kind and personable – and a good listener. I appreciated his detailed explanations of every step in the process with honesty and compassion. I’m so grateful to have been in Dr. Letourneau’s care.

He did an amazing job closing a large Mohs wound on my nose. He went beyond just a closure and actually significantly improved my appearance. He’s got to be in the top 5% of plastic surgeons. Brilliant guy, can’t recommend highly enough.

First consultation with Dr. Letourneau was a nightmare and I do not recommend anyone visit with this Doctor. I was his last appointment of the day and was to meet for a consultation for reconstructive plastic after a required mohs surgery. I was met with a total disregard, was treated rudely and was made to feel like I was more of a burden then anything. His consultation was fine but he was unprofessional using the "S" and "F" words a lot. His bedside manner was not good and I left the appointment telling him that he should improve upon his professionalism and that we would not be working together. Furthermore, and not exaggerating, Dr. Letourneau's hygiene was not good. As we were going through the consultation I just keep thinking to myself that if this was his standard for himself I certainly would not want him working on me. I don't generally offer reviews but I was left so muddled after this appointment I felt it necessary to share my experience.

Dr. Letourneau is honest, kind, funny and a great doctor. I appreciated the time he took with me to explain procedures, his thoroughness in discussing problems, symptoms, and treatments, and the quality care he provides to his patients. He encourages other treatments before rushing into surgery, which I really valued. Thanks for the great care! I highly recommend working with Dr. Letourneau if you are looking for a great doctor!

Dr. Letourneau did a reconstruction of my face. Not only did he do a fantastic job leaving me with invisible scars, he explained everything in detail from pre-op to follow ups. Plus he made a personal call to my family afterwards. Also love his personable bedside manner. Great job.

I had 2 terrible experiences with Dr. Letourneau. I went in to see him regarding pain in my wrists and in both instances, made me feel uncomfortable and stupid for not having a good grasp of the medical terminology or procedures that needed to be done. I understand I don’t have a strong medical background but belittling your patients isn’t what a good doctor does. I have a mild accent but it’s never been an issue in any other setting but he made me repeat what I said multiple times to the point that I felt annoying. I sincerely hope that he isn’t like this with other patients, and sincerely hope it wasn’t because of my ethnicity/background but at this point I wouldn’t put it las him. I changed doctors and had a much better experience, I won’t be seeing or referring anyone else to Dr. Letourneau

Dr. Letourneau has performed 5 laser surgeries on my daughter and is amazing! He is kind, compassionate and has my daughter's best interest in mind. I would highly recommend him!
