Dr. Peter Alahi, MD

I saw Dr. Alahi at Bradley University and within the community. At Bradley, I was seen by student residents in rotation. In the community, I saw a consistent resident then followed with her practice for a year after she finished her residency and before I returned to University to finish my degree. Back at University, Dr. Alahi made statements to me when we were alone about how he still talks to his former resident about my case. This is a HIPAA violation as she is no longer my provider or involved in my care.

Dr. Alahi is a scam artist. He does not care about the well-being of his patients, especially young females. He is covertly abusive and manipulative even to his resident students. Seems nice, trustworthy, and claims to be an expert.

They say if you're mentally ill you should "seek help". Does no good with worthless docs like this, took me 3 years of "seeking" help to see this jerk and he did nothing for me.

Very unsatisfied. Made an appointment 3 months out. Was told they would make a call for a reminder when appointment is closer. I get called the day of 2 hours before my appointment. Was working out of town that day couldn't make appointment. Always a hassle to get medicine refilled. Ran out of medicine on a Friday. Called them Thursday left a message. Friday. Left a message. Monday. Left a message. Been without my meds for 4 days. Finally on Tuesday got through. Wanted to make an appointment and get a refill. They informed me that I was terminated due to missing an appointment and can't refill my meds. Left me out to dry. Now scrambling to find a new psychiatrist. Very dissatisfied felt was unfairly treated wouldn't recommend anyone to go there after this whole fiasco.

This guy is a joke. He misdiagnoses which can cause a client much harm. He is arrogant and really doesn't care about his patients. Downright mean if his patients don't meet up to his expectations. He is a joke,

I felt like Dr. Alahi listened to me & included my thoughts in my med management. I like him and I like that I always felt "in control" of my treatment plan - he is part of the team that keeps me well.

Zero bedside manner Rude Arrogant Condecending Incorrect diagnoses Acts as if patients are simply a waste of his time Does not care!

Knowledgeable but rude, insensitive.

Dr. Alahi always exhibits the utmost professionalism whether it be in the office, on the phone or during a hospital inpatient visit. Dr. Alahi takes the time to understand an individual's circumstances and fully explains any treatment plan changes and medication risks and benefits. Dr. Alahi is obviously highly intellelegent but I always feel like I am being treated with repect. I would reccommend him to a friend or family member without hesitation.
