The Dr. and supporting staff were communicative and have a balance of patient care and humor that is appealing and welcome . To find such care is rare . When stuff breaks, trust this mans judgement. I will.

Dr Berhard went out of his way to help me when I had a unique situation with a kidney stone due to prior ureter surgery. Knowing we had a vacation fast approaching, he had his scheduler secure an OR so he could operate on a non-surgical afternoon. He even spent 15 minutes with my husband and me prior to the surgery, discussing the details and showing us the films. His was able to do everything he said he would. His office staff was also very helpful and responsive.

This was my first appointment, doctor did not listen to the information i was giving him on my condition and turned around and asked me a question i just gave him an answer to. Everything is rushed he took some of my prior tests from other doctors and took off out of the room. I didnt know if he was coming back or going to send the nurse back in after copies were made. Well no one came back in, so i found my way to a desk and that person didnt know were my original copies of tests were taken and had to find out where they were. So i knew i was in trouble with this place, asked person at desk about tests doctor was ordering and would they get back to me when they have approval they said yes. Over a week went by didnt hear anything so i called was informed test didnt need approval and i could take the order to facility to have test performed. I told them you didnt give me an order and why wasnt i called and told no prior auth. Was needed, no answer was given.

Pleasant doctor but not pleased when doctor takes weeks to return a call. My life is more important than having to wait and continue calling back over and over. Nurse says he usually doesn't return patient calls. So this patient will find another urologist that does!

Office visit was fine. Myself and his staff is trying to get him to respond to us about meds. I week after my appointment and I still don't have my medication sent to my pharmacy. He has been contacted several times and he won't respond.

Dr. Bernhard, while practicing in Minnesota, removed a cancerous kidney. He was there to visit me every day, and I knew he was sincere in his concern for me. He is a great doctor!

Outstanding Doctor. He removed a kidney stone and did not have any pain or reaction to the stent surgery or to the 2nd surgery with the removal. Stent removal - didn't feel a thing. An overall excellent experience.
