Dr. Peter M. Bingham, MD

Horrible dr. Refused to listen to me or my child. No positive bed side manner. He Refused to do any meaningful exam. Simply shined a light in my child’s eyes and called that a neurological exam. I Had to make repeated calls to get the testing orders for SIX months, he refused to follow up or return messages. I’m still calling to get the other half of the testing orders he wouldn’t send over, yet my child’s chart says they were..... but the hospital has no record of him writing orders for them. Save yourself the frustration and find a different doctor. I’m filing a complaint with the hospital. No parent or child should have to deal with this.

My daughter has a diagnosis of Rett Syndrome and was recently seen by Dr. Bingham. I cannot express enough my gratitude to him for spending a great deal of time with us and for the compassion he exhibits. He truly provided above and beyond, exceptional care for my family. I will be forever grateful.

Doesn't listen, doesn't appear to care, made diagnosis based on quick impression of child rather than careful examination, seemed to prejudge the problem and ignored parents' and child's input. I strongly recommend you identify another physician to work with, even if it means a longer wait. We were truly disappointed with his care of our daughter.

Terrible, terrible excuse for a physician. Please drive the hour to DHMC and avoid this doctor. He is unprofessional, uncompassionate, and based upon a subsequent visit to another physician, his diagnosis was incorrect, and his treatment was suspect. Please avoid!
