Dr Bouz is the best!!

Dr. Bouz spent 45 minutes with my husband and me discussing at length everything from my condition to the various options for my care. He was patient, knowledgeable, and showed concern for me as a patient.

Be aware that the post operative care that you’ll receive will never ever be by the actual surgeon. You’ll have an assortment of PA’s. You’ll get to repeat your entire story over and over with each new PA. I had 2 terrible outcomes from this surgeon. And not a single person in this practice cared. Nor did any of them try to make any of this situation better. You might get this surgeon for your surgery- but you’ll never see him again. Very disappointed in this surgeon and entire practice.

I had back surgery 12-7-20 and I’m having issues with headaches and right leg pain and my issue is that you never get to see the doctor or hear from him. Even after surgery he didn’t talk to my wife. She heard from the nurse. I’m sure if everything goes as planned you really don’t need to see the doctor. Even after surgery I am not scheduled to see him at all. All the appointments I had leading up to my surgery I only saw him once. I guess I need to have a doctor that cares when you are having problems and not getting passed to the physician assistant. Nothing against them but sometimes you want to hear from the doctor himself.

Not that I am exprienced with a lot of Neurological Surgeons, but Dr. Bouz was very patient and spent time explaining things that had happened to me. I felt very comfotable with him. His assistant was a bit off though. Looked liked someone stole her cookie and she was pretty upset about it. Apart from that it was as good as an experience you can have after a aneurysm.

Straight to the point. Explains everything in detail and simple so you can understand. Compassionate. And more.

Excellent doctor. Very compassionate. Very humble. Came down to my level and explained every procedure. Answered all my questions with extreme patience. He is extremely knowledgeable. Loves his job. Everyone in his office was cordial and very approachable. I would recommend him to anyone.

He is the best of the best. Humble, positive, wants to teach, wants people to understand what is going on. Very patient.

Nobody has ever gone through an MRI like his physician's assistant did and explained everything on the first visit. 2nd visit was with Dr. Bouz he went into more detail. Surgery went excellent even though it was a long surgery. Came out and personally explained to family. He was back on his feet on several days. He barley could walk before surgery. He was a new man at the age of 68!

Is an incredibly gifted doctor!
