Dr Caravella is the man! He pretty much saved my life and I am greatly thankful for that. Walked me through every step and called to follow-up after surgery. Highly recommend

We are so grateful to Dr. Caravella. He saved our daughters life. He is a wonderful doctor and person. His bedside manner and the time he took with us is so appreciated. His office staff was very nice as well. Thank you so much for saving our daughter.

Dirty office. Dr Caravella and his assist and were both rude, dismissive and judgemental. He spent about 90 seconds with me. He was smug and arrogant. Don't waste your time, you'll just need a second opinion

I had a surgery by him 3 years ago and my life has been miserable due to him pitching and damaging nerves that were not supposed to be touched and had to have surgery by a different specialist to try and clean up the mess he did and the whole time he blamed it on my “back” he doesn’t accept his wrong and the staff know how bad of a provider he is and after spending a lot of money in mri,ct scans , pt, nerve studies etc and thinking I was going to be damaged for life i finally found a doctor who really cares about my health and listen to me instead of being sarcastic like Dr Caravella he honestly should have his license removed for continuing damaging people’s life .

After surgery he was impossible to get a hold of. While in the hospital the residents on the floor called multiple times and left many messages. The nurses over my care also called and called him with no response. Completely unprofessional and an embarrassment to the hospital and doctors who had to cover for him.

Dr Caravella is a competent surgeon with a good bedside manner. He however does not prescribe pain meds except Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I guess we can thank all the opied addicts out there for that but it still isn’t right. Tired of being in pain with very little relief.

If he had read the medical chart for my wife, he would not have prescribed her Ibuprofen when she was on blood thinner medication - but he did. Then when we called his office to notify them, my wife left a message (day after surgery) today at 9:30 am, so she could get a different medication. At 1:40 pm - having still not received a call from them - she called back, waited a long time. When she spoke with a person, she was told that her prior message had been received (not sure by who), but, since there was no reply yet, she left another one. At 2:05pm I called, waited 15 minutes (started at 8th in the queue) then got 6 rings, no answer and put back in the queue at 9th. Are you kidding me???? So we choose pain or possible blood clots until someone can fix the prescription????

Dr Caravella treated my mother at Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas Nevada around 2010. I checked my mother into the hospital for a serious unknown gastrointestinal issue. SHE Was dying. Finally Dr. Caravella was called in. He literally got to her hours before her imminent passing! He performed a very tricky surgery and we all held on to hope my mother would survive as she was septic because he was not called in earlier. He saved my mother's life. He gave her hope and she trusted him. He was the only competent person we dealt with in a hospital of clowns. Dr. Caravella gave me five more precious years with my mother. I am grateful! PS. ..he's not bad on the eyes!
