Bright very caring and knowledgeable

The doctor himself was perfectly fine just don't ever call or ask a question to the staff. 2 out of the 3 times I have had questions I have gotten yelled at. Once the horrible phone operator screamed so loudly my coworker heard her from across the room and we were both stunned. I have never been yelled at by anyone in a professional setting before so this was beyond shocking to me. She was so loud and rude I literally broke down crying- this is a great spot if you want to be verbally abused!!

I've not seen him for anything too serious so I don't know what kind of diagnostician he is. It's very easy to get an appointment and he's always very prompt and personable. He seems to care a lot and remembers what is important. His nurse is fantastic, but the office receptionists are not particularly friendly. He's also very sensible and straightforward and is interested in learning from me as well as explaining things to me.

Excellent bedside manner. Excellent communication in the office and with follow-ups. Quick and accurate diagnosis every time. Have been a regular patient for nearly 20 years.

Started seeing Charap recently based on glowing reports from friends. He is a bit abrupt for me and with a complicated medical history, I am afraid he might miss things, but then again I came in with a crew of speicalists already so he probably figures I have those areas covered. I am amazed though at how accessible he is in that he'll squeeze you in last minute and also call you personally in a timely manner if you have questions. So he's an interesting mix. Kind of NY rushed but old fashioned personal connection.

A no nonsense doctor. He is excellent at his craft. His office staff leaves something to be desired, but if you are looking for great medical care, he is a superb choice.
