My state farm nofault paid this guy $625 to say that my accident related injury has resolved. (Which it hasn't) I never even had complete testing yet ( emg's, follow-up x-rays and MRIs ) to determine what the next step should be. Funny to me that he gets paid over $600 to barely do anything besides force me to move in ways that I avoid, daily, because it makes it hurt more (keep in mind, he rushed this exam..15 mins, most of which was him verifying if the medical information he recieved is accurate) meanwhile the doctor I was seeing only got $95 per visit. Personally, I don't think someone who has no morals or concern for someone should still be practicing. Once you stop seeing patients as people, only dollar signs, then I think it's time to reconsider your profession. I'm lucky because I have health insurance and can continue getting treatment without the help of a car insurance company but the way I see it, what if I didn't? What if I was already scheduled to get surgery at the… time of this IME exam and suddenly had the nofault insurance taken away from me? Because, even according to his exam, I was not given an "A+” and he told me himself that I need to have certain things followed up on still. Bad. He should be ashamed of this and I really hope anyone who researches doctors before they make appointments reads this and takes it to heart.
