Dr Crookes is probably the finest dr I have come across. He is the first dr to go the extra mile and get to the bottom of what is wrong. He gives you his time and incredible wealth of knowledge and experience. On top of that he actually cares deeply and passionately about the wellbeing of his patients. Dr. Peter Crookes performed my DS & RNY 14 years ago. Subsequently, I lost 180 pounds and went from a size 3X to size 12. The surgery was performed when I was 60 years of age. What a difference! No more cane. Easy plastics to remove extra skin including the flappy arms. Double knee replacement was a breeze without the extra weight. Dr. Crookes has been there with me annually as I do my vitamin tests and always first with a good Irish hug. Even after we moved to another state I have been able to reach Dr. Crookes by phone or by email. He has commented that I was his poster girl for bariatric surgery and follow up. I love this first class leprechaun.

Well I had surgery 2 years ago with this dr :) total weight loss is 200lbs + still losing :) what I remember is how nervous I was when my family left me when I went to surgery room :-( then Dr.Crookes walked in and held my hand :) and all my worries went away his bed dude manners are amazing!! I and now my gallbladder may be acting up and this man cares as if I just had the bypass ! I have seen him many times after my surgery and has ALWAYS acted like no one else was there sits down n completely takes time with every patient ( my sisters a patient also) I recommend this Dr to all ! It starts off with being afraid and a lil bit like saying I don't know , but after meeting the hands your in and his bright smile it suddenly turns to excitement about your new journey ;) of being healthier;))) no regrets!
