Dr. Peter Benjamin Dekay, MD

Not impressed!! We were referred to Dr Dekay from the Emergency Room. The referral was urgent. My mother found that she has several complex mass on her ovaries and is bleeding. She needs to get a appt ASAP. I would think with an urgent referral from ER she could get in immediately. But it took Dr Dekay a whole week to tell us "He is not accepting anymore Medicare Patients." Also with no referral as to who could help us. He left us hanging!! So here we are one week later looking for someone who cares more about the patients and not the bottom line.

Best Doctor ever. I have referred him to many friends and clients.

I enjoyed seeing Dr Dekay but my only objection to seeing this Doctor is that he doesn't spend enough time with you unless your pregnant. During my prenatal visits he ensured all questions were answered and my concerns were addressed. When I wasn't pregnant I felt he was rushed and didn't spend adequate time with me and allow me to address concerns I had. I felt like I was penciled in the schedule when I should not have been.

I wish there were more stars possible for bedside manner - Dr. Dekay is the best!

I had a pretty easy first pregnancy and because I work also in medical field I did not have a ton of questions for the doctor, however, he always still took the time to explain things to me and ask if I have questions. He was professional but also personable. I saw him one time outside of the office and he said hello and even remembered my name, which I think is great because to me it means he sees me as a real person not just a patient. I also was seen by the other two doctors in the office when dr dekay was on call...and both are friendly and professional. I felt confident in all of the doctors if they were to deliver my daughter. Office staff is always courteous. I would recommend to all my family or friends

My mom referred me to Dr dekay because he delivered my little brother. My brother was stillborn but came back to life and Dr dekay was very calm and comforting during that difficult situation. I decided to sign up with him. The staff are very professional and nice, they promptly return calls. Dr dekay is very polite, professional and caring. I have a six week old and although the on call Dr delivered my baby Dr dekay came in the next morning to say congratulations.

Dr. DeKay has been my doctor for a few years now and I have to say he is THE BEST Dr. I have ever had! He has wonderful bedside manners and is a genuinely caring individual. I am so lucky to have him as my OBGYN. Both my children he delivered were C-Sections he made the process feel so comforting. I would recommend him to any and all my friends, but they already go to him! Alpine Women's Health is a professional practice, the office staff is always kind and courteous and is prompt with returning any calls I have. I absolutely love them!

I was new to the area when I found out the I was pregnant with our third child. I was referred to Alpine Women's Health. I have to admit that I was very unsure about the care I would receive and worried about finding a new OBGYN without knowing the area it made me very nervous. The OBGYN that I had seen with my previous pregnancy was an awful and kinda ruined my faith in all doctors. My pregnancy was high risk and he did very little to prevent complications. ( I almost lost my life and my son) I was reassured that Alpine Women's Health was one of the BEST and it did not really matter who I got as my doctor, that all three doctors in the office were amazing (and they are). I ended up becoming one of Dr. Dekay's patients and after my first visit the office I knew I had choose the right place for my prenatal care. The office staff was GREAT and Dr. Dekay took time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. My previous pregnancy was high risk and I was worried I was at… risk for another high risk pregnancy. Dr. Dekay monitored me very closely throughout my pregnancy and when my pregnancy did become high risk he answered all my questions and reassured me that everything is being done to ensure I had a health baby. The time did come that he needed to induce me via c-section to ensure the health and safety of my unborn daughter and myself. ( It was not that bad) Thanks to him, the two other doctors and staff at alpine Women's Health. I now have a beautiful 7 week old little girl who was born safely 5 weeks early.

Dr. DeKay is a straightforward, receptive and thoughtful practitioner. I genuinely enjoyed his care during my second pregnancy and delivery. His office staff is always very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend him.

He is the best doctor I have had so far. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a doctor. He is very friendly and caring. I love this doctor!
